Some of them are hiding holy relics of each other's churches so that one will not become more influential than the other.

The tight guard in the information about Abelport even made Anastacia curious about the reason why a small city is being well guarded by the Church of Light. Abelport is not even the area where the Church of Light is founded or an area where a holy relic is found.
