Capítulo 69: She is not working here

The old man was close to his mother and he treated her like a daughter. He would not think twice before doing her a favor but that did not mean he will not chastise Diana.

But the scene that he was expecting was entirely different from the scene that he witnessed.

The old man was laughing like there was a live comedy show.

Maxim's gaze drifted to Diana. Although she was not laughing or giggling, he could sense the genuine happiness emanating around her.

 Diana was dressed in a simple green blouse which was paired with a white pencil skirt. Her long hair was tied in a high ponytail.

He remembered her words during breakfast today.

'I am going to go shopping before I attend the interview,' she had told Ivy who had looked excited.

He had wanted to ask her to let him tag along to her interview just in case there was a repetition of last time's situation.
