Capítulo 145: EPISODE 145: Unbreakable Bond!
"Come on Drilbur... please be friends with me," Glade begged while trying to play with his newly caught Pokemon.
<Drilbur! Dril!>Drilbur infuriated and bit Glade's hand. Although Drilbur was caught by Glade, their bond must strengthen.
"That's what you get for catching a Pokemon just for fun!" Zhery giggled and teased.
"Well, he kinda looks strong, so I figured to catch it," Glade explained and took out his Pokedex from his bag.
[Drilbur! The mole Pokemon, a ground type! It's a digger, using its claws to burrow through the ground. It causes damage to vegetable crops, so many farmers have little love for it. Drilbur only knows three moves:
-Scratch
-Dig
-Mud slap]
"You should've scanned the Pokemon before throwing a Pokeball you know?" Zhery sighed as she tried to stop herself from laughing.
"It's fine by me... Drilbur can become stronger anyways! Right Drilbur?"
<Drill! Drill!>Drilbur scratched Glade's face as he stuck out his tongue.
"Aren't we going to the festival? It's almost night o clock." Camellia questioned as she continued to sway her legs while staying on the upper bed.
"Oh right! I almost forgot, come on we have to move now!" I snapped out of drowsiness and rushed to fix my bags.
Today is the first event of the Festival of the Beasts. Hundreds or maybe thousands will flock to the plaza to enjoy meals, parties, and other exciting circumstances. On the first day of the event, there will be nothing except for kindness, excitement, and joy, at least that's what I think.
On a small alley lies four masked men with a small laptop in front of them. They looked intimidating as the four of them wore black tuxedos.
".... Do not fail the mission!" A voice instructed and spoke from the laptop.
"Don't worry, boss... The Masked Revelations will do their best. Hehe!" One of the tuxedo men uttered softly and turned off the laptop.
"Come on boys! It's time to cause havoc and rampage." Another man wearing a tuxedo laughed in excitement as they rushed off with their motorcycles...
The streets were filled with decorative factors which made the place colorful and exciting. A lot of children played with their Pokemons especially in the plaza. Everyone's heart was filled with joy and excitement, laughter, and kindness.
Many food stalls are established around the area. Tens of thousands of people flocked to the place to eat and enjoy. There were mini-game booths, wherein me and my Pokemons could play in! Zo, the town's mayor helped his officials on setting up tables for the grand feast later.
At night, all the candles will be turned on, everyone will gather on the table, once everybody has settled down, Zo will make few proclamations and the grand feast will finally begin.
"Step right up folks, welcome to the Pokemon Fan Club! Battle our chairman to earn amazing rewards." A man wearing a magician's suit encouraged and caught the people's attention.
"Battle!?" Me and Riolu's eyes began to sparkle as everybody began to gather in the small center stage at the plaza.
"Whoever wins against Chairman Fiord will be given a Cyndaquil doll!" The man wearing a magician's suit explained.
"Cyndaquil doll! Kalem I want that doll." Riolu's eyes began to sparkle as he begged to have the doll.
"Don't you have your Totodile doll already? Besides, you're too old for dolls."
"I want to complete the Johto starter dolls! Please Kalem, I won't ask for anything again just please win the doll for me." Riolu begged.
"Hmph! Just be thankful that you're eyes are too cute to resist. Fine, I'll fight for the doll."
Many trainers sought for the doll, since their Pokemons pleaded for it. Many have lost against the Chairman, including Zhery... Glade... and Camellia...
"Are there any more trainers who wish to battle Chairman Fiord?" the man wearing a magician's suit questioned.
"Me! I want to battle him." I raised my hands and beamed with excitement.
"And who are you young lad?"
"My name is Kalem and this is my partner Riolu. We'll fight for the doll." Chairman Fiord accepted my challenge.
"Each shall use one Pokemon each, the battle ends when either side no longer has a Pokemon to battle with!" the referee instructed.
"Riolu, battle for your doll!" Riolu leaped into action with enthusiasm. He was eager to claim the Cyndaquil doll.
"Sandslash, let's go!" Chairman Fiord tossed out Sandslash from his Pokeball.

"Alright, battle begin!" the referee instructed.
"Riolu, use Seismic toss on Sandslash!"
"Dodge it Sandslash, then use Metal Claw!"
"Counter with Force Palm!"
*Sandslash's attack was countered with force palm. The foe was pushed back.*

"Great Riolu, now use Vacuum wave on Sandslash!"
*Sandslash blasted back.*

"Use Magnitude now!"
"Please be magnitude one!" I begged.
*Magnitude ten! Riolu was badly hurt.*

"Now use Slash, Sandslash!"
"Riolu, stand up!" I begged with worry.
Riolu tried to stand up as his palm started to glow red. Sandslash approaches the foe as Riolu punches Sandslash in the face sending it backward.
"Riolu, great job! You've learned Dizzy punch!" I beamed with joy.

"Riolu, let's use your new move! Dizzy punch full power."
"Sandslash dodge it!"
*Sandslash was unable to react quickly therefore he was unable to dodge the attack.*

"Finish Sandslash with Force Palm!"
<Rio! Rio!>the Pokemon smiled and unleashed the attack to the foe. Sandslash dropped tired across the floor.
"Sandslash is unable to battle, the winner is Riolu and Kalem!" The referee announced as Riolu jumped back to my shoulders.
"Great work buddy, you've learned a new move and gained a new doll!" I complimented while playing with Riolu's chin. Chairman Fiord went near me and gave Riolu the Cyndaquil doll. My buddy was extremely happy to have a new doll by his side.
We walked around the plaza to look for more exciting things to do. Riolu held and played with his Cyndaquil doll as we walked around.
"Hey, Riolu, why don't you put your new doll in my bag first," I suggested as I took a sip from my drink.
"I still want to play with Cyndaquil! Its eyes are too cute." Riolu beamed with joy while hugging the Cyndaquil doll.
"Riolu's one tough fighter but on the inside? He has the mind of a newly hatched Pokemon." Camellia giggled and teased.
"Well what can I say? Riolu loves dolls especially his Totodile doll."
"No! Cyndaquil is my new favorite doll, Totodile can stay in your bag." Riolu interrupted as he continued to hug the Cyndaquil doll.
"Riolu can't sleep without me or his dolls," I explained while watching Riolu hug his new favorite doll.
Suddenly, loud Pokemon noises began to occur in the plaza. Officer Jenny of Enju town was trying to battle a Slaking and a Snorlax. Slacking and Snorlax's eyes were covered with somewhat a fancy black mask.
Slacking's eyes were color red as seen from their mask, while Snorlax didn't look drowsy at all. They rampaged around the plaza, and that's when four men riding a motorcycle rushed around the town while holding more copies of the mask placed in the rampaging Pokemons.
"Give me the town's money, and we'll stop the rampage!" One of the men demanded as everybody started to panic and run around. Me and my friends however decided to stop these men from causing more havoc.
"This town does not belong to people like you!" Zo infuriated as his ninja looking bodyguards stayed aside with their Pokemons.
"Haha! Don't mess with the Masked Revelations, you'll suffer defeat!" One of the men uttered and threw a mask on one of the Growlithes.
"The Masked Revelations!? So it's true, the pilfering duos aren't the only ones back. The whole bandit group is back!" Glade beamed with shock.
Growlithe's eyes began to glow red, as it begins to attack his trainers. The four men were able to command and control the rampaging Pokemons.
"What the!? Growlithe snap out of it." One of the bodyguards demanded as he tries to calm his raging Growlithe.
"Pokemon Manipulation!? How dare you, I will demand my guards to arrest you." Zo warned.
"Oh, don't be such as short-sighted fool, give us the money and we'll stop the attack! Our masks works on both people and Pokemon, don't let us control you!" Of the men warned.
"Hey! What you're doing is wrong." My friends blocked and protected the mayor.
"So you're the bunch of kids the pilfering duos were talking about!" One of the men uttered and infuriated.
"Controlling people and Pokemon just to claim money is wrong!" Camellia infuriated.
"Look who's talking blubber mouth! Snorlax, use Hyper Beam on these kids!"
"Slaking, use Hyper beam as well! Kill anyone who passes our way."
"Great, team Chaos and the Masked revelations are similar! Scizor come out then use flash cannon to counter these beams!"
<Scizor!>The Pokemon went out of his Pokeball quickly and countered the Hyper Beam attacks.
"That's one fast Scizor, we'll have that!" One of the men threw the mask on Scizor. Scizor's eyes started to turn red.
"Oh no Kalem... They're trying to control Scizor!" Camellia warned.
"Oh really!? Scizor, snap out of it then use X-Scissors on Slaking and Snorlax's masks!" I commanded.
"No one can resist our masks, neither can your Pokemons, haha!" One of the men laughed devilishly as Scizor's mask started to break.
"That's where you're wrong! A strong bond between a trainer and Pokemon can withstand anything! Scizor, use X-Scissors now."
<Scizor!>The Pokemon raged with anger and punched the four men away from me and my friends. Scizor glided to Snorlax and Slaking, he broke the masks in half.
"What!? How was it able to withstand the mask's power?" One of the men questioned.
"Just leave them, we have to go now! We're powerless without any Pokemons." Another men suggested.
"So... you stole that Slaking and Snorlax didn't ya!? Scizor, blast these men off and use Flash cannon on them!"
"Wait... wait, mercy us!" One of the men knelt and begged.
"Sorry but my Scizor is a fast responding Pokemon!" I winked as the four men blast off to the sky.
Snorlax and Slaking turned to normal as Camellia removed the mask on Growlithe's eyes. The mask was hard to remove, as electric impulse connected the mask to the brain. Growlithe felt like his eyeballs were being removed. The town's peace was restored as Snorlax and Slaking returned to their original trainers.
"Thank you young children! Those Masked Revelations never stop." Zo infuriated.
"I don't know what sparked them to rise once more," Zhery uttered with uncertainty.
"Would you mind mayor Zo? May I please take this mask with me." Camellia begged.
"That mask? What are you going to do with it Camellia?" Glade questioned.
"Some research. I want to know more about how they were able to manipulate a Pokemon's mind. This technology is brilliant, not in a bad way." Camellia uttered softly while observing the mask.
"Um... sure! You can have the mask, that's if you help us clean the town! Those rampaging pokemons caused a lot of damage." Zo bargained.
"Sure, no problem mayor Zo! The more we help, the faster it will be done before the grand feast starts!" I agreed and beamed with excitement.
The town's citizens, me and my friends, and the mayor worked hard to bring order back at the plaza. The Pokemons also helped the citizens with cleaning the plaza. Teamwork was seen everywhere, the bond between the people and the Pokemons in this town is remarkable. No one fought against their Pokemons, everybody showed kindness to one another, which is the main goal of the first day.
The clock struck six, and everything was finally put to order. The food stalls began to operate again, the decorative factors were fixed, and everybody was hungry after that incident. We all gathered in the table, with our Pokemons by our side as the mayor of the town stood and made his proclamations.
"Citizens of Enju town, and visitors alike. First of all, we would like to thank everyone for helping us restore the town's cleanliness and orderliness. Everybody worked hard with their Pokemon, both people and Pokemons showed kindness and love to each other.
That kindness and love, is the same thing that Ho-oh wants to see in us. People working together with Pokemons, and Pokemons working together with people. Tonight, the first day of the festival ends with a grand feast. A feast for both people and Pokemons alike, a feast that will remind us that the bond between people and Pokemons is truly remarkable.
Nothing, or no one, can disrupt a strong bond. That is why we urge everyone, from now one... we should continue to love and care for all species, so that our bonds may strengthen. Once they are strengthened, no mask can seal this town's fate!
Please, eat, drink, and be merry!" Zo proclaimed as the candles started to light up.
The candles colored the night sky, as chefs and waiters placed down meals on our tables. The Pokemon interacted with other Pokemons, the people interacted with other people, but the best part? People interacting with Pokemons.
Riolu however... um, let's just say he likes playing with other Pokemons that's if they don't steal his doll.
"No! This doll is mine. Help me Kalem!" Riolu begged as Mawile and Petilil began to chase for the Cyndaquil doll. Scizor and my other Pokemons were happy as well, they ate and dine together with other Pokemons.
Everybody was active that night, as the bond between the citizens and the Pokemons strengthened.
"Hey Glaceon, don't you want to play with the other Pokemons?" I questioned while brushing her fur. She was lying on my lap, while relaxing as I broomed her fur.
"No... I want to stay in your lap, it's comfy and soft." Glaceon smiled and licked my chin.
