Capítulo 140: EPISODE 140: The Last Pair Standing!
"The match between Faerill and Rea against Camellia and Kalem is finally over! The winners are Kalem and Camellia!" Melody proclaimed as the crowd cheered for our names. I guess it all comes down to this... We would soon battle Arc and Krill, one of the leading trainers of the upcoming Pokemon League.
"Welcome folks to the last round of the Pokemon Tag Battle Frontier! We have the world champion and a rising master against two strategic trainers! Which of them will be crowned 'Tag Champion?' who will reign supreme over the battle stage. Our Elite four looks excited, they're willing to see who will they battle!?" Scott announced and lifted the spirits of the crowd.
"Let us start, shall we... The final duel is about to begin, each trainer belonging to a pair shall use two Pokemons each! Substitution? Is not allowed! Yes, you've heard it, substitution is not allowed!" Scott explained.
"For today's last match, we would like to call Lance, the dragon master to be the referee of the match!" Scott announced as the crowd cheered for his name.
"On my left, two strong and strategic trainers. A young boy following his mother's footsteps, and a young girl aspiring to become a Pokemon professor! Please welcome... Kalem and Camellia!" The crowd began to cheer for us as me and Camellia walked forwards to the battle stage.
"On my right... A champion and a rising master, strong-willed, power-packed! A fashion of flare and Ice... Let's give it up for the world champion, Arc, and the rising master Krill!" The crowd cheered louder for their names. Arc and Krill waved their hands as they slowly walked towards us.
"It's payback time Kalem... I have become an abomination because of you, I'll show you how strong I've become, fear my wrath!" Krill warned.
"It is an honor to be the referee of the final match. I bid both of you the very best. Today, the champion will be decided, please send out your first Pokemons!" Lance instructed.
"Riolu... let's do this now!" I tossed Riolu's Pokeball to the sky. Riolu descended with determination.
"Braixen, the princess of dwelling flames, bearer of the fire torch... share me your grace and glory!"
"Ghostly hollows of the past begotten, Gengar shine with the shadow veils."
"Fraxure, dragon of rage and frustration. Be the guide of strength and will, let the power of the dragons flow through you!"
"I see... Let the battle begin!" Lance proclaimed.

"Gengar use Shadow punch on Braixen!"
"Fraxure use dragon claw on Riolu!"
"Braixen, dodge then use flame wheel!"
"Riolu... dodge then use throat chop!"
"What!? Riolu learned a new move? Both Riolu and Braixen were able to dodge the foe's attacks." Scott announced.

*Gengar has been immobilized with love!*
"Gengar snap out of it!"
"Fraxure use dragon rage on Riolu!"
"Riolu run towards Fraxure, dodge then use Throat chop again!"
*Fraxure was thrown up to the sky with Riolu's palm on the foe's neck!*
"Braixen, now use flamethrower on Gengar!"

"Oh!? Riolu is changing shape?" Scott beamed with shock.
<Zor! Zoroark!>The Pokemon beamed with determination.
"It looks like Riolu was Zoroark after all! She is known as the master of illusions and therefore played a trick on her foes!" Scott explained.
"Use Night Daze on Gengar!"
"Gengar dodge then use Yawn!"
*Zoroark felt drowsy! Her speed has fallen, as so as her power.*
"Braixen, use Flamethrower of Zoroark!"
"What!? Camellia asked her Pokemon to damage her teammate? What kind of gobbledygook is this!?"
"Thanks, Camellia, Zoroark now use Night Daze again on Gengar!"
"It looks like, flamethrower snapped Zoroark from the drowsiness she was experiencing."

"Trainer Kalem and Camellia, please send out your last Pokemons!" Lance instructed.
"Riolu... Now it's all up to you!"
"Sylveon, your turn to shine!"
"And look at that folks! The real Riolu has shown its true colors!" Scott announced.
"Let the battle begin!" Lance proclaimed.
"Fraxure use Dragon pulse on the both of them!"
"Riolu, use Vacuum wave and send the dragon pulse back!"
*The wind from the Vacuum wave attack blew Dragon Pulse back to Fraxure!*
"Fraxure is unable to battle! Now, Krill and Arc... please send out your next Pokemon!" Lance instructed.
"Blaziken, you're up next!"
"Bisharp... come out now!"
"Looks like this final duel is intensifying! Only one could victor over the competition, who will that 'one' be!?" Scott announced.
"Camellia, be careful of Guillointine. It's a one hit knock out." I warned.
"Don't worry Kalem... Sylveon's eyes are keens as those belonging to Braviary!"
"Battle continue..." Lance proclaimed.
"Bisharp use Guillointine on Riolu!"
"Blaziken, now use Blaze kick on Sylveon!"
"Riolu, use force palm on the ground!"
"Quick Sylveon, use Dazzling gleam on the ground too!"
*A minor quake was produced by Riolu's force palm which caused Bisharp to blast back, on the other hand Sylveon's dazzling gleam caused the stage to feel with dust*

"Riolu close your eyes... sense Bisharp's auras."
Riolu closed his eyes, as his hearing became louder. He could sense my emotions, and Sylveon's emotions. Even if the battleground is filled with dust through the air? Riolu can navigate through his auras.
"Kalem... I sense Bisharp's emotions!" Riolu reported.
"Now use Force palm, then Seismic toss then multiple force palm again and again!" I beamed with determination.
<Bi? Bisharp!!!!>Bisharp uttered with shock as someone from behind punched his head with force palm! Riolu lifted Bisharp to the sky and dropped him, it was followed by multiple Face palms on Bisharp's head.
"Riolu's power to sense emotions is amazing! It could use it to navigate throughout dusty fields or places!" Scott explained as the smoke cleared out.

"Sylveon, now use fairy wind and finish Bisharp!"
"Bisharp, hide behind that rock!"
*Bisharp dodged the attack!*
"Blaziken, now use blaze kick on Sylveon!"
"Bisharp, Guillointine on Sylveon!"
"Riolu... use vacuum wave and blast the both of them back!"
*Blaziken and Bisharp blasted back due to the strong winds emitted by the Vacuum wave attack.*

"That's it... Blaziken, use Blaze kick on Sylveon!"
"Quick Riolu, grab Blaziken's foot then toss it to the sky! Follow it up with dozens of force palm on the face!"
"Sylveon, then use Dazzling gleam afterward!"
"Oh my!? Riolu tossed that Blaziken to the sky! As Blaziken descends, Sylveon hits the foe with Dazzling Gleam!"
"What!? You should've mega evolved!" Arc angered.
"Hey, just because you're the world champion doesn't mean you get to command me!" Krill infuriated.
"You're making us lose! Don't you see what's happening?"
"Making us lose!? Your Pokemons fainted first before mine!"
"It looks like Arc and Krill are arguing! Without teamwork, they might not win!" Scott warned.

"It looks like we have a champion! The winners are Kalem and Camellia!" Lance proclaimed.
"Look what you did, you distracted me!?" Krill infuriated.
"It's not my fault, you don't know how to battle!"
"Well yeah? You shouldn't have been my tag partner!"
Arc and Krill left the stage with frustration and rage towards each other. Blaziken could've dodge those moves but with the lack of teamwork and support? It led them to their defeat.
Everybody began to stand up and clap their hands for us as Ms.Beatrice walked closer with the two golden trophies. "Trainer Kalem and Trainer Camellia... you are the champions of the 45th annual Pokemon Tag Battle Frontier! As a reward for the trials and tribulations you have surpassed, I give you these trophies... and a chance to defeat the elite four!" Ms.Beatrice beamed with joy and gave each of us two trophies.
"Riolu we did it! Our first ever trophy has been claimed!" I beamed with joy while hugging Riolu. Me and Camellia were very happy and delighted, everybody began to cheer for our name.
"Here's to the both of us, Camellia!" Me and Camellia sent a high five to each other. It was one of the best days of my life.
"You truly are following your mother's footsteps aren't you?" Ms.Beatrice giggled.
"Of course, I'll be a Pokemon Master just like her!" I beamed with excitement and determination.

We had the chance to battle the elite four, wherein our first challenge was to surpass Alice and Lorelei. Everything was going fine, until we were defeated by Lapras' sheer cold, a one-hit K.O attack.
Since we've lost, we were unable to proceed to the next Elites. I was hoping to battle Lance and Melody, but still... me and my Pokemons still has room for improvement. Even if we've won the tournament, we still need to become stronger in order to win in the Pokemon League.
"Congratulations Kalem! You to Camellia." Zhery and Glade beamed with excitement and met us in the exit as everybody walked out of the Battle temple the moment the competition was declared over.
"Thank you very much... We really appreciated your support!" Me and Camellia beamed with excitement while I smile at my trophy. The Elite fours and the champion bid us goodbye as the sun walks back to his bed.
"Hey Zhery, Camellia, me and Glade will go out for a nice stroll. We'll be back quick!" I greeted.
"Sure, just don't come back late!" Zhery instructed as I and Glade left the inn. Camellia was extremely happy, she was able to earn her second award.
Camellia quickly rushed to her bed and covered her head with a pillow. She screamed with excitement and happiness. "Looks like someone's blushing again." Zhery teased while brushing her teeth.
"That was fun... It was fun to battle alongside with Kalem, it felt like heaven." Camellia beamed with joy and affection as she removes the pillow from her head. Her cheeks started to turn red while thinking about me.
"Looks like you're in for a tough day tomorrow." Zhery teased.
"Tomorrow!? Isn't the festival in two day's time?" Camellia questioned.
"Yes... but aren't you gonna look for a gift for Kalem tomorrow? It's gonna be a busy day tomorrow for all of us." Zhery recalled.
"Oh no... this is bad, I'm not good at finding gifts. I don't even know what Kalem would like for Yuletide." Camellia uttered with worry.
"Don't worry... leave it to me! I'll help you find the perfect give for Kalem, a gift that would impress him, a gift that would make him happy, without him knowing that you admire him." Zhery reassured.
"Really!? Thanks Zhery!" Camellia beamed with joy.
"...Or, we can find a gift that could somewhat show Kalem that you admire him." Zhery teased.
"Um... I already told you, I will confess to him when the time is right, when we're old enough, but for now, I won't."
"Sure... it's up to you! Just don't get too obvious or shaky when you give the gift to Kalem or else he'll obviously know."
"Um... that will be a hard thing to do."
"Then, leave it me! I'll be your guide. I'm the master when it comes to love and affection! Kalem won't know that you admire him when you give him your gift, trust me!"
"Teach me your ways Maestro!" Camellia teased.
