Capítulo 96: EPISODE 96: We'll Meet Again Dratini!
Camellia finally got the award she always wanted to have, the Tauros trophy and the Tauros ribbon! She was able to defeat Alexa, a girl filled with an arrogant passion. Cheaters never win, and Camellia proved that to Alexa who tried to win by knocking out other opponents. Good thing Camellia has a sharp eye.
Now, we can finally continue our adventure towards the cavern of the deep! We've been on route twenty-five for almost three days, the sun is bright, and the winds blew towards the far east. It was a typical day, under the ordinary morning flower!
While traveling, I noticed how Dratini kept on using her water gun on every tree we pass through. I guess, she loves to battle as well! A timid Pokemon with a determined heart, and sparkling cute eyes.
"Close! Open! Close! Open!" Riolu uttered with a bored voice as he played with my eyes while clinging on my shoulders. He would place his paws on my eyes, then remove them, then he reiterates the whole process.
Riolu didn't want to go down my shoulder, since Petilil and Flabebe were hopping and skipping together as we walk through the timbers. Flabebe hates Riolu extensively, due to the fact Riolu caught her by accident. At least Flabebe loves her trainer Camellia!
"Hey Kalem, I think Flabebe hates me," Riolu whispered to my ear while clinging on my shoulder.
"She certainly hates you, so if I were you, I would stay where you are before she poisons you again." I teased and warned.
"It was just an accident! I didn't mean to catch her. Can you tell her to forgive me!" Riolu begged.
"Um, why should I? You didn't find any healing Pokemon in the cave!"
"Flabebe is a healing Pokemon, at least I caught her!"
"The instruction was, find and not catch any Pokemons! Listen attentively next time!" I smiled and played with Riolu's chin.
"I think, this would be the perfect place to set up camp for the night," Camellia suggested.
"This place gives me the creeps, I feel like I'm in a horror forest or something. Like the ones in movies." Zhery uttered as she looked at the tall trees, and singing Hoothoots.
"Just be happy we have a place to stay for the night, besides, you have Pokemon by your side when a ghost appears out of nowhere." I expressed directly towards Zhery.
"Wait, you guys believe in ghosts?" Glade laughed while holding his belly.
"Ghosts are real, you know? Like Ghastly, Haunter, and Gengar! Or the other Ghost pokemon" Camellia explained and enumerated.
I and my friends established a camp in the deep parts of the woods. It was dark and spooky alright, but at least we have shelter for the night!
"Kalem! Let's train! Let's train!" Dratini begged while watching me fix my tent.
"Not now Dratini, I have to fix my tent, maybe when I'm done, we'll train again!" I played with Dratini's head for a while. I don't know why, but Dratini looks very adorable.
Camellia however, was playing and observing the little Flabebe and her white fairy flower. Flabebe loves to play with Camellia all the time, they even sleep side by side!
While fixing our tents, and setting up camp, Dratini was extremely eager to train. She kept on using her attacks on nearby trees. I don't know why, but she wants to evolve into a Dragonair right away.
A young girl, with long green hair and a brown vest, saw Dratini training all by herself. She was attracted to Dratini's determination and skill, so she decided to challenge Dratini with her Pokemon called Deino. Deino had a blue body filled with black fur and a gothic look. It has four paws and little oval patches on its leg.
"Go, Pokeball!" The trainer threw her Pokeball towards Dratini. She thought Dratini didn't have any trainer but she was wrong.
<Drat!?>The Pokemon uttered with shock as the Pokeball whacked her head. The Pokeball didn't work, and Dratini got scared. She hid behind a tree while looking around the forest.
"So that means, Dratini has trainer!" The trainer came forth while concurring.
<Drat! Drat!>The Pokemon shouted for assistance as the trainer walked closer towards her.
"Hey, calm down! I won't hurt you. My name is Darcey and this is Deino." The trainer comforted and introduced.
<Dratini! Dratini!>The Pokemon began to cry for assistance.
"Dratini!?" Dratini's cry caught my attention back in camp, so I rushed towards her right away with my buddy Riolu.
"Hey... calm down Dratini, I'm just a normal girl with a typical dream. Here, you can-"
"Hey! That Dratini is mine, don't hurt her!" I infuriated at the trainer.
Dratini rushed towards me and tucked herself between my legs. She was shivering in fear as her eyes began to sparkle.
"Oh, you must Dratini's trainer. My name is Darcey, and I didn't mean to traumatize your Pokemon." The trainer introduced and explained briefly.
"I see, my name is Kalem by the way and this is my partner Riolu!" I smiled and introduced myself.
"Hi there Kalem! So, since you own Dratini, can we please trade Pokemon!?" Darcey walked closer and begged.
"What do you mean trade Pokemon? Trade Dratini for yours?" I queried.
"You heard right! I am offering my Deino for your Dratini! Please!" Darcey begged.
"No way, Dratini is my Pokemon. Sorry, but I don't want to train." I declined the offer.
"Aw! Please Kalem, can I have your Dratini for my Deino! Please!" Darcey knelt and begged.
"Sorry, but no is no! She is my Pokemon and I am her trainer! We have a strong and unbreakable bond!" I declined the offer once more.
"Fine, I can't force you... So, lets battle instead! It's ok if you don't trade with me as long as you battle me!" Darcey uttered with determination.
"Battle!? Sure thing! I accept your challenge. Me and Dratini needed to train for our upcoming gym challenge in Fantasma city." I beamed with determination.
"Alright, let's do a one on one battle!" Darcey beamed with determination.
"Dratini, I'll be using you!" I beamed with determination and style.
"Deino! Ho-ho!" Darcey beamed with determination as Deino leaped into action.

*Dratini unleashed a tornado and sent it towards the foe!*

Somebody behind a tree started to watch me and Darcey's battle. She looked entertained with our battle.
"Dratini, follow up with another twister!"

"Deino, use dragon rage! Follow it up with pursuit!"
<Deino!>The Pokemon used the attacks commanded by her trainer.

"Dratini, use water gun!"
"Dodge then finish with dragon rage!"
*Deino knocked out Dratini with a powerful Dragon Rage!*

"Dratini! Are you alright!?" I grabbed Dratini's slithering body.
"Yay Deino! We one again! Very good buddy!" Darcey hugged Deino tightly.
"So Kalem, do you want to trade Pokemons?" Darcey queried.
"Even if I lost, I'm not trading Pokemons!" I declined again.
"Alright then, your loss! I'll be going now, bye!" Darcey and Deino left the scene and continued their journey.
"Kalem, am I a weak Pokemon?" Dratini queried with sad little eyes.
"Weak? You're not weak! you just need to train harder!" I uttered with encouragement.
"I look weak, I'm just a tiny snake-like Pokemon who knows weak moves," Dratini uttered softly as tears fell off her eyes.
"Look Dratini, you can't be the very best when you just started. This was your first time to battle any trainer right? At least you gained some battling experience." I comforted.
"But I am weak. I want to become strong, I keep on training by myself but nothing ever happens. I'm the same old boring Dratini!"
"Don't say that Dratini! Come on let's train together shall we?" I suggested and smiled at Dratini when all of a sudden a silhouette slowly walked towards us from behind.
"Your Dratini looks powerful you know?" The woman uttered from behind.
"Ah!? Who are you, and if you're asking to trade with my Dratini, the answer is no!"
"I'm not here to trade with you, I'm here to help Dratini!" A strange woman, with a black hood and a dark blue outfit with a black cape, uttered as she went closer to use. Riolu shivered in fear again as the woman drew closer to us.
"Don't be scared, I only wanted to help." The woman uttered as she slowly removed her hood.
"May I know who you are?"
"My name Khaidra, and people call me, the dragon master!" The woman with white hair smiled and introduced herself.
"Dragon Master? What's a dragon master?" I queried in confusion.
"A dragon master is a person who trains and lives with dragon type Pokemon all the time. They master the art and skill of handling such types. I live in Dracovolt city, by the way, it's a city filled with numerous dragon Pokemon."
"So, you're saying you can help evolve my Dratini?"
"Yes I can, but may I ask who you might be?"
"My name is Kalem and this is my partner Riolu! He's always like this everytime he gets frigtened." I introduced.
"Nice to meet you Kalem, let's train shall we?" Khaidra suggested.
"Sure! So Khaidra, how can Dratini evolve into Dragonair?" I queried.
"Oh... I was talking to Dratini only. Sorry if you got confused."
"Talking to Dratini only? What do you mean by that?"
"I want to borrow your Dratini for three days," Khaidra begged.
"Wait... you mean? You're going to bring my Dratini!? No way! Dratini is my Pokemon and I can train her myself."
"I'll return Dratini as a Dragonair. It will only be for a few weeks. I'll train her, I know you're going to use her in the Pokemon League. You can trust me."
Dratini looked at me with a puzzled face. "What's going on Kalem?" Dratini queried as my head was filled with a big question. Should I let Dratini train with Khaidra?
"Um... I'm not sure, I think I'll need time to think about it." I uttered solemnly while thinking of a decision.
"Don't be sad Kalem, I'll return her to you once she evolves into Dragonair. I don't have much time since I have to return to Dracovolt city. So please make up your mind." Khaidra uttered.
"Dratini," I uttered slowly.
"Is there anything wrong Kalem?" Dratini queried.
"For the time being, I want you to come with Khaidra." I uttered slowly as tears fell of my eyes little by little.
"Are you giving me away because I'm weak?" Dratini felt sad as her eyes sparkled.
"No! No... It's just, I want you to become stronger. Khaidra is a dragon master so she can train you. We'll meet again someday." I uttered solemnly as tears fell off my eyes.
"But... I can train with you! I can't live without you Kalem! Don't let me go." Dratini started to cry.
"Dratini, don't cry! It's just for the meantime, you'll return to me soon. This is for your own good. When we meet again, you'll be stronger and better!" I uttered solemnly while hugging Dratini.
"Kalem, I'm going to miss Dratini while she's gone."
"Me too bud, but Dratini has to train! She wants to become a Dragonair, and the only way she could do that is through Khaidra."
"Kalem please say no! Please, I don't want to leave you." Dratini begged.
"Sorry Dratini, you have to go. When we meet, I'll hug you tighter than before! Now, go with Khaidra, and train hard ok!" I uttered solemnly with tears flowing from my eyes. I placed Dratini on the floor and asked her to go with Khaidra.
"But Kalem! Please don't leave me."
"No! You have to train Dratini, go with Khaidra for the time being. We'll meet again." I turned my back and ignored Dratini's tears.
"Khaidra, here's Dratini's Pokeball. Take care of her for me." I uttered while crying.
Dratini slowly walked towards Khaidra with an unhappy face. We will be separated momentarily, and we'll surely meet again. As a trainer, I know how it feels to be separated from your Pokemon, even for a short while. It's for her own good, she needs to train harder.
"Ok Dratini, let's go. Kalem, whenever you see a white feather on the floor, that is the sign which symbolizes I'm nearby. Bring the white feather to a nearby stream... and there? You shall find me and Dragonair." Khaidra instructed.
"Alright Khaidra, just take good care of Dratini for me!" I uttered solemnly with my cap faced down.
"I will Kalem, you can rely on me!" Khaidra uttered. Riolu was about to cry as well, but he tried to pull himself together.
"Bye Dratini! Be a good Pokemon ok? Don't cause any trouble, and don't forget me and Riolu!" I waved as tears fell off my eyes while Dratini walked alongside with Khaidra.
"Bye Kalem, please don't replace me. When I return, I'll be a strong Pokemon!" Dratini uttered before we finally separate from each other.
Dratini will be gone for now to train with the dragon master. When I see her again, I'm going to hug her tightly. This is for Dratini's own good and sake, this is for Dratini's eagerness to become strong. We'll meet again some day. I know we will, the only question is when.
