A single nod was all it took for the mother and daughter duo to understand themselves and walked in like the rest with every eye locked on them, the centre of attention.
Astrid gave a knowing smile as she tried her best to maintain her composure and not behave funny while greeting others.
With her thoughts wondering about the place, she soon locked eyes on her soon-to-be husband — Blade.
Memories from the first moment they met till now flooded her brain as she readily welcomed them.
Seeing him standing by the podium in his gracious wedding outfit, she felt her heart leap with joy. It was finally happening. The moment they were going to be joined for life.
"We're here," her mother announced in a whisper as she stopped, released her daughter's hand and waited for Blade to come over before she left.
