CHAPTER 623

For the past twenty years since Isadora had been locked away, she tried to connect her powers with the daughter in preparation for any of Marceline's attacks at any time and each time, she felt a particular pull in the water, a sense of sadness.

And even after learning to control the waves, it became frequent at every specific time, daily.

She did not know who that sadness belonged to but she could almost feel they held equal pain as hers did.

It felt like there was someone out there going through something as deep as what she was doing and that singular thought comforted her.

It was not because she was happy at the person's predicament but because deep within her, Isadora felt she was not alone and she could hopefully talk to someone, although she wondered how that would ever be.
