For some days now, Marceline refused to give them the answer they truly desired and ignored them as though they weren't there.
Of course, she did not deprive them of seeing Eric anytime they wished. However, they could not take him away.
One wrong move or evil thought in that room and Isadora would be alerted.
She made the mechanisms in such a way as to prevent anyone from stealing Eric and to make matters worse, they were powerless here on land.
Marceline was already tired of being on land without the living with her people, in her natural element.
She always felt on edge whenever she was close to Isadora. It was as though one wrong move and the fairy queen would stroke.

BaeVida Sorry for the delay darlings. Having issues with my fingers, mostly my thumb. Plus our transformer blew, so I am back with light problems.
And the generator cannot carry my laptop. So I am sorry our schedule would have to be moved. I hope though, I end the book before or by month-end.
