The second they arrived at the entrance to the palace gates, one of Owen's men rushed up to meet them and intercepted their path. 

The second he saw the royals and the numerous soldiers that returned, his heart was glad and he bowed before them all.

"Your majesty. Your highness, welcome."

However, when he lifted his head, he properly took note of the situation happening. Their king had a sullen look on his face while his hands remained bound in front of him.

As much as Owen did not want to bind him, he had no choice. He needed to make him an example before his people and a part f him feared his father's escape.
