As much as he did not love another aside from Astrid, he knew when she got jealous of Snow. Scratch that, in fact, jealousy was both ways. 

Back when there was Cari, he was so jealous to the point of leaving her alone and more so, because he did not give in to his feelings he pushed her away.

'Damn it! I was too jealous. How did Astrid keep up with me?' Blade thought.

"By the way," he heard Terrence call out suddenly. "Who she is most eager to see is no one but you. I belt even Callum is at a loss here. Her first love goes to her brother."

Terrence looked back and caught sight of Callum and winked. He was just taunting the assistant Lieutenant but it was fun.

A soft chuckle left his lips and he shut his eyes briefly. "His highness can have her first love. The most important thing is that I have others till the end of time."
