CHAPTER 552

Thinking it had finally ended, her shoulders slouched as she released a soft sigh. No sooner had she done that than Lorelei's eyes flew open.

Astrid who had already turned halfway halted and moved her head back to be sure. 

The initial shock she had on her face did not go unnoticed by Lorelei who snickered leaving a wry smile on her lips as her eyes twinkled.

"If I cannot use that to get them, I might as well use your beloved." 

Her brows creased, forming a deep V between them as she faced Lorelei squarely. She did not know what she was planning but she hoped it had nothing to do with her family.

Astrid flexed her hands, her powers pulled on her fingertips as she readied herself for the next attack.

Lorelei's lips twisted to the side, her eyes fluttering as her body shook, convulsing from the maddening power she was using.
