Loud marching sounds could be heard echoing in the hallway as the owner of the feet briskly walked over to the first room at his right.

Without wasting a second, he raised his left leg and hit the door.

She jolted up from where she sat down on her bed in shock and turned around to see who had the effrontery to break into her chambers just like that. She had least expected such a rude entry.

"What have you done?"

"What did I do? I think you would have to be a little bit more specific if you want to barge in here and accuse me just like that."

A sinister smile appeared on his face but he did not say anything to her. Taking in a deep breath, he made his way forward to where she stood.

He did not need to do anything before he could read her like the back of his palm. He already knew her.
