Astrid's eyes dimmed a fraction, something was off about the princess. She was confident about her disguise but the way Kaia gazed upon her, she had started to doubt her spell. 

She watched as Kaia's face became ashen with shock at the first glance at her and later they squinted and she swam up close, hitting Dariyah in the process with her body bit that did not matter to her right now, all that mattered was to confirm what she saw.

"You!" She said when she was a few inches from Astrid.

"Your highness," Astrid called out and dipped her head low into a bow for her.

"Rise." Her commands were straight to the point but Astrid thought of playing her game well and not be scared about anything yet.

"I am afraid I am not good enough to look at her highness in the eyes," Astrid stated diplomatically.

"I am the one giving the order and I said you should rise. Raise your head and look at me."
