"You said?" White Wing asked out of the blue after some time.

No one spoke, everyone was still tongue tied especially Glacier. Something about the way he kept quiet had caught Nerissa's eyes and then it struck home.

She could see a twinkle in his eyes and what followed next left her speechless. His eyes stung and water began to gather in their socket.

"Oh no." She moved her hands up to cover her mouth but there was no need. The deed had been done.

Up until that day, none of the White Tiger-Phoenix beasts knew who had killed the late fairy queen Leia other than that Glacier saying he saw her dead body when the spell she cast on him finally faded away.

Hearing Nerissa say this only meant one thing… The truth had been out. Queen Leia was killed by a mer-person.
