CHAPTER 402

Without wasting anymore time and with the excitement bubling in her tummy, Astrid took the first push and kept on swimming.

Each push in the water made her heart to thud wildly. She did not understand it though as her mind, body, soul and spirit was being drawn to the kingdom, yet her heart wanted something else, like it was scared and telling her something.

She had waited for this day all her life and now that it was finally here, she could not control the rapid beating of her heart.

At first she ignored it but after sometime she paused and placed her right hand on her chest.

"What is wrong?" She asked herself. Her orange sapphire and bl;ue eyes darting to and fro to keep watch of her environment.

'Something is not right. Something seems fishy somehow. Like it is odd. It is like my instincts is telling me something.' Astrid thought to herself.
