"What? You aren't angry or against it?" Blade was really taken aback by her words. She was the last person he would think would say that considering her relationship with his brother, Terrence.

"No, Blade."

Okay, things weren't adding up and Blade was becoming suspicious.

"Relax, young elf." He scrunched his nose at her. 

Young elf! Bloody hell they were about the same age.

"Why? Why do you care so much if I love her or not? Why do you say the things that you do? Make me understand. Let me understand."

"First, keep that sword away," Aubrey said and pointed to his sword but her eyes still remained fixed on him. 

At first Blade hesitated. He wasn't so sure if he really wanted to give in to her demands but seeing as he would still be the one at a loss, he gave in and sheathed his sword.

"Thank you."

"Speak Aubrey, I do not have all day. Why?"
