"It is no use talking to you. You and the others are the same. Look beyond your rage and see the truth," Blade advised his brother.

"Then I hope your heart can hold on to this truth brother." Terrence was not meaning to lose. Nope. If Blade had thought that freeing her was the best choice, then he should know that was his biggest mistake, so he thought. 

Blade was not really interested in what Terrence had to say but irrespective of that, he still paid keen attention as if she was in danger he would try and help her again.

His brother had told him not to allow their people spill her blood, so no matter what it took, he was never going to let that happen.

"The hybrid escaped, but she is dead."

"What?" Blade could not believe his ears. There was no way Astrid could die so easily. It just did not seem right. No, she couldn't die. Terrence was bluffing.
