Jareth now standing, blinked then lifted his gaze so he could look into her eyes. He was shocked to see that the tough queen of just now had her eyeballs drenched in the tears that pooled in her eyes sockets.

"Mother."

"My son." She instantly pulled him closer and enveloped him in her hug. "Oh, Blade. I have missed you so much."

"Mother."

He had come here with two goals in mind. The first was to see her and then to make her stop sending him the royal maids to bathe him. What was he, twelve years old?
