With smiles on her face, Avery stared up at her father and saw his expression remain as calm as usual, exuding a certain aura alongside.

She calmed her racing heart and straightened her back standing at her father's back with both hands behind her, mirroring her father's stance.

The horses sprinted faster than before as they neared the gates of the imperial city.

Jareth and Terrence could see their father and a sense of fulfilment washed over Terrence as his eyes narrowed on his father and sister who had come o welcome them personally.

Jareth on the other hand still remained calm and lead the group of soldiers with his horse-riding gallantly in front.

Within two minutes, he was already there and jumped down from his horse, waited for Terrence and the others before marching forward to meet his father and bowing down with one knee to the ground and his hand on his chest.
