Aelfdene could not understand how humans worked or thought. Everything they were doing screamed risk. Not that theirs didn't but they felt they were entitled to it.

Isadora drew the line and broke any form of friendship or hope of peace from happening.

"They do, but obviously they must have had something up their sleeves," Cleon replied him, he looked back at Astrid and then at Aelfdene before shaking his head. 'I would not want to be her.'

"True about what you said. They may be plotting something," Aelfdene added and took in a deep breath.

"Whatever it is that they are plotting, we are one step ahead of them. The kingdom would rejoice once we return."

"Sure. Everyone was hurt when the sorcerers murdered the first prince."
