Cyrena gave her a clean handkerchief and dropped the used one on the table.

"Sorry mother."

"Go to bed on time today. You need to rest."

Both of them rose from their seats. Cyrena moved to where her mum stood and held her waist, assisting her in her movement towards the door.

When they got to the door, Lady Erwina stood straight and placed and placed a hand on where her daughter's hand was on her waist. "It is fine Cyrena. You should stay and attend your guest, I would be on my way."

"Alright mother. Please do take care." She let go of her mother and stood aside, opening the door for her mother to step out before closing it.
