The entire stadium was packed as fans wearing Washington Wizard jerseys flooded the different rows and seats.
There were a few Bulls' fans sprinkled throughout the stadium as they brandished their jerseys and other fan gear such as snapbacks and posters.
At the announcers booth sat three people who would be acting as the commentators for the game. One of the men was wearing a black suit and some thick framed glasses.
He looked at the camera and began to smile "Hello ladies and gentlemen. My name is Logan Banks and I am incredibly honored to be here tonight.
As we start the playoffs tonight we have two Wizard legends who will be joining me for tonight's game.
First is the incredible player who in his time carried the franchise to some of their best years. The man himself, John Wall."
Dressed in a dark gray suit John Wall smiled at Logan and then at the camera "Thanks for having me Logan.
My heart was heavy as I was working on today's chapter. Some of you may or may not have heard about what had happened in Atlanta recently. An attack on Asians that just adds to the already increasing number of hate crimes that are being commited against people for simply looking the way they look. The attack might have happened in Atlanta but the truth is that even in places as culturally diverse as California, a state where a large number of Asians and Asian Americans live, the racism against Asians is becoming more and more open. And the thing that makes me the saddest is the fact that there are people of color trying to drive a wedge between other communities of POC. I know that not everyone has the mentality that would allow them to be confrontational. But if you see anyone being harrased I implore you to do something. No matter what their skin color, sexual identity, nationality, please take action. Divided we cannot hope to enact change. Only by truly being united can we walk towards a brighter future.
