Qin Zhan gave his girlfriend's hand a gentle squeeze. He did not know what was going through her mind right now. But he could guess that trying to sort out her thoughts right now was not that easy.

For years, Gu Xin Ye had always believed that Wang Zhi Wei had betrayed her and that he had the intention to steal the company away from her.

Now that she was told that Wang Zhi Wei was doing those things to protect her from the shareholders, Gu Xin Ye could not readily accept them. 

She still did not know whether should believe Wang Zhi Wei's words.

Gu Xin Ye was very confused at this moment.

She pulled her hand from Qin Zhan and rubbed her temple.

"Xin Ye, it's not that I didn't want to tell you anything," Lin Qiao continued. "I have tried to convince Wang Zhi Wei to let you know of his plan. But we have no choice but to keep his plan a secret so that the shareholders would be fooled."
