Capítulo 3: "How's The Weather"

"Well I'll be damned Saigen, long time no hear. Good to hear from you, your alive man. So how are you?"

"I'm suspicious. Has there been any terrorist activity lately? Can you give me an update on the weather. I know you have access to the radar and the satellite. Give me an update on my location. Has the military changed the weather lately?" The Sargent was shocked by he's friends question. Turning his chair around he looked at the radar putting in Saigen's location. Than typed in the location on the satellite snapping pictures. He frowned, "Just a moment your location has strange activity. Seems like there's some kind of magnetic, maybe electrical activity going on. Its changing the weather to some seriously dangerous levels. Snapped some pictures, there sure is a lot of lightning rumbling in those storm clouds. Is it raining? Nope military hasn't done anything and terrorist attacks is on the extinct level at this moment. Seen any northern lights? Strange...hey let me call you back. I have to make a report, my radar is showing something I've never seen. Can I call you back on this number I'll send everything to your fax. There's some serious weather activity going on you might want to call your Mayor and warn the residents in your city. What I'm seeing isn't good man." The Sargent frowned as he heard static in the phone line watching his radar blink in and out. His concern grew he stated firmly, "Try to keep your power in your house on the low, don't use the water to much. There's some serious electron activity. Getting some interference in the phone line also. We'll figure out what's going down. You'll hear from me. Latz." Deputy Saigen heard the click putting he's cell phone down here looked at his boss who was instructing the Mayor on the blackout locations. Apparently all the residents had paid their bus fare and demanded a refund, due to no one had gotten to their destination. Even several churches had called concerned about certain members. Asking the police department to check on them. He read the names off to the Mayor. Who seemed to be getting angry at every minute. He seemed to be over reacting on everything. As the Sheriff defended the police department stating clearly this has nothing to do with them. Until violence broke out. We serve and protect, their not maintenance. That pissed off the Mayor even more, slamming his fist on the Sheriff's desk. Saigen wasn't liking his behavior at all, his hands moved to his cuffs off and on wanting to arrest the obnoxious fellow. So instead Deputy Saigen stood up clearing his throat to get their attention. That got their attention both looked at him, red faced and angry. "What is it Deputy, can't you see we're busy right now." Saigen walked up to them confidently stating firmly with a touch of impatience, "Well you'll be getting even more busy, don't forget to put it on the schedule Sheriff." The Sheriff frowned his lips tightened as he yelled, "What the h*ll are you talking about deputy?" Saigen leaned on his desk his arms crossed over his chest, "I just got off the phone with the military guess there's a serious phenomena going on. The Mayor needs to warn all the residents about the unusual activity." The Mayor frowned, "You where talking to the military, why there's only power outages. Now what's going on, this state needs to give me a raise by G*d." Deputy Saigen raised a brow blowing his black hair off his forehead. He stated calmly, "How's the Weather Mayor?" The Mayor's frown deepened revealing the wrinkles from a high stressed position. Taking in the deputy's words, he pushed his glasses up in thought. "That's what the military informed you on, they think its the weather. That's possible. What did they say?" The deputy glowered, "We have some very electrical activity going on including an increasing magnetic field in our area. He asked if we can see the Northern Lights, it could be the reason. The blackouts has struck the bus stations and the hospitals, from what I have received from residents even a residential area. About ten miles from here in the direction of the Catholic Church, the only one we've got. He said decrease power usage, and monitor water activity. Sounds to me its an electrical storm, not yet confirmed." The Mayor shook his head in disbelief, "That's impossible for this location, that's just not possible with our altitude. Are you sure he's right?" The deputy felt slightly insulted at his disbelief, and the insult towards a loyal and trust worthy friend. He's patience growing short he walked to the window opening the blinds, "Mayor look for yourself, take a real good look. How's the Weather Mayor?" The Mayor frowned walking to the window, he pushed his glasses up and took a good look. The deputy grew frustrated, "Now what are you doing to do, I suggest obey our military Mayor." The Mayor watched the clouds darken and swirl with dangerous intentions, as lightning streaked across the skies. Lighting up the clouds with a light green touch of chain lightning. He frowned, "I never noticed." The deputy smirked, "Be aware of your surroundings Mr. Mayor." The Sheriff followed him holding his silence, he watched the clouds move and spinning as a low rumble echoed through the police station. Making him jump as he remembered something as a young pup, the memory was a real nightmare. Missing people flashed the news, reports hit the newspaper. Distressed parents threatening his father who had been Sheriff at that time. Not in all his life did he think time would be repeated. Sure enough he looked at the clouds, remembering as a young boy. How the wind would circle him, the hair on his arms would stand on end as he could hear smalls sparks of static electricity streaming through the air. Walking through the green grass and stopping at a large tree. He could see steam coming from its trunk. As a Minister cried out telling him to get away from the tree, the last memory he remembered was the lightning strike. A strange memory, a terrifying memory, he swore he seen a hand print on that tree. Than everything went black, shaking his head the Sheriff was mesmerized by the clouds and the lightning. The deputy frowned as he watched the Sheriff go into a daze. The Mayor went to the desk and dialed a few numbers, he had to notify the press. Deputy Saigen waved his hand in front of the Sheriff not getting a response, he snapped his fingers so loud the Mayor jumped. Finally the Sheriff snapped out of it, he whispered.

"It's happening again. He's here."
