Capítulo 8: Chapter 8
It was an interesting feeling waking up in a puddle, not someone having wet the bed kind, but a rainstorm kind. Even more so when it still retained the shape of a fox. It wasn't even a hard thing to figure out, it seems like the foxes had a little different sort of defense. Though Azure climbing on his mother like she was a mountain to conquer while they had slept. Her little nose was an inch away looking down at him.
It was a moment to figure out what she had been planning to do, jumping off, she lands on him. ensuring that he wouldn't be able to even have a chance at getting back to sleep now. The little wolf giving a little growl, starting to play a game of chase towards the little fox. Giving little nips towards the fluffy tail that is trailing behind the girl.
It was a few minutes before the other's started to stir. His mother was first, having woken up when the little fox had changed her into a mountain. Lapis and Nadia woke around the same time. Nadia seeming to forget for a moment where she was. Worried for her daughter that was being chased.
She actually seemed to flow where two were, moving in between them. The little wolf actually trying to run through, thinking that would be interesting feeling, what he finds, though, is a very solid, and slightly sleepy mama fox. Nadia looking down confused at him for a moment, Azure was quick to mount her mother, moving again for a pounce. The wolf knowing her destination, rolls this time as the cute little fox cub lands right next to him.
She seems to know it was a bad spot, trying to turn before the weight of the wolf was on her back. Pressing her into the ground, letting out a bark of dominance and happiness at getting the little cub. He gives a few little nips as retribution for the jumps. Giving her a little lick after, he starts to wander away, taking himself back towards the comfort of his mother's fur. Nadia still a little confused as to what had just happened between her cub and him.
His mother seems to shake her head a little, letting him know the plan for today. They were going to get something to eat today, it wasn't a good thing to not have a sort of set day for hunts. The interesting thing is, they were to all work together. The plan was for a boar, not something simple as a rabbit like he had before.
