Capítulo 3: The fool.
Ryuk tried to stand, but the large pulses of electricity wouldnt allow him. 'fuck! i should have controlled myself, and why can he use magic i thought his awakening ceremony was in 2 months from now.'
Ryuk was beaten almost everyday when he was kicked out of his family, he managed to get a son of one of the elders of the Xin family, a scoundrel that beat and took as he pleased, to beat him. Ryuk then appeared in front of the governor sent from the capital with self made cuts and pleads. Ryuk twisted a tale of how he was a weakling trying to fight the corruption of the main families presiding over the valley, both because the governor wanted to scare the big families and also because he had heard about this elders son and his crimes already, the governor issued an order for the elders sons head. No matter how the elder pleaded the elders son was killed, the Xin family then knew to be careful of Ryuks cunningness, but the Xin family couldn't do anything both because the governor was keeping a close eye on them and Ryuk, and also because Ryuk was becoming stronger and stronger. The Xin family knew they couldnt directly kill Ryuk because the capital had enforced a rule: the rule mentioned that battles between youths of the same generation are allowed, but if a older more experienced cultivator is caught in battle with a younger cultivator and repressing said cultivator without proper reason, the capital would punish said individual. This rule was mostly enforced in towns or villagess where very prominent talents existed, or in towns or villages bordering the country, the first reason meant more powerful cultivators entered their ranks and the second was to create a meat shield, it was obvious that Doe village fell into the latter. Furthermore Ryuk kept a very tight schedule he would either be in the forest hunting, or in very populated areas which were deemed no fighting zones, Ryuks rampage of the hunters guild was a good enough reason to make a no fighting zone into a fighting zone. Ryuk would normally still be at an advantage but He Xin had gone through an awakening ceremony meaning he was baptized and was born with a affinity for an element, and that element was one of the most powerful and rare, lightning, and somehow He Xin had somehow understood a spell, this was too much bad luck for Ryuk.
Magic was considered a path of cultivation that required excellence, some even say heavens blessing, any old man and his dog can cultivate martial arts, but only rare individuals can cultivate magic.
"Look it's the clown of doe forest. I see that your brains truly do match your moniker." He Xin insulted. "Truly the clown is not thinking that he is master He Xins
match?" said a small Xin family servant who was next to He Xin. Ryuks Ruby eyes shone violently, his evil nature suffocated the servant and caused him to fall to his knees, with veins palpating almost to the point of bleeding. "I might not be his opponent, but that Dosent mean you have the right to talk does it?" Ryuk said, both his eyes drooled two red tears. "Wow! The clown really has some tricks, but do you think your weak ass sea of conciousness can do anything, you might have some weird ass killing intent but it aint enough. So why dont you do us all a favor of not having to see you squirm and kneel." He Xin said clapping. "I might be a fool, but that's a good thing. No one suspects you're stronger when you're the fool." Ryuk then put all his focus into his muscles and then shot at He Xin, He Xin was shocked but still maintained control and threw another bolt. Ryuks eyes bleed furiously as he used every single brain cell to try and make every moment seen to him, Ryuk then twirled his tongue around in his mouth and then opened his mouth around his tongue was a small needle. Ryuk understood one thing He Xin could in no way have mastered a spell, so their was only one option he was using a scroll, a quick and easy way of using magic. Ryuk knew no matter if he used all his power and mental strength there was no way he could touch the speed of a scroll and it's activation, furthermore if he was slightly off on his mark with a weapon he could blow up the entire room and himself with it. Ryuk having spent most of his life in the Xin family knew one thing, all forms of magic have a source, the body uses mental strength or magica around the body to perform diffrent spells or at least thats what Ryuk understood, anyway scrolls were similar they had a intricate form but still a source. Ryuk used all his available mental force to look at each intricate line and find where the source was, he used his tongue like a gun and then blew hard the needle stuck very sharply into the scroll and struck the source, an implosion was occuring.
