Capítulo 37: Life 37: "This Cities Shining Bright... Cause I AM HERE!!!"
"Wait- Furuichi- You- YOUR AKUMA!!?"
Replying in a low pitched tone- he said- "No time to talk Aoi- I've lives to save and monsters to vanquish - I'll leave you to the Federation's care for safety now hold on tight!"
Without a moment to protest Akuma bridal carried Aoi down as with the use of the element of wind he breezed down with the help of the gentle wind that glided him down and the use of earth allowed him to slow his fall.
Now at the ground level, he helped Aoi down as she managed to stumble a few more words but it fell on deaf ears as Akuma was gone with the wind.
Rushing forward to the monster in the sea his feet gradually sailed through the air flowing with the breeze as his arms began to freeze up with a crystal-like aura as he began to blast two huge beams from his two hands.
His beams seemed supercharged as they slammed into the Hydra with a collision the entire sea seemed to shake with waves of water splashing around Carotto World.
Rushing forward an insignificant ant-like creature collided with a giant nine-headed behemoth and the collision caused an aftershock of water that nearly drenched the mainland nearby.
But Akuma in question felt so damaged by that impact his hands seemed to shatter as he struggled even raising them up.
His will, however, remained rock hard- as he stepped into the fray again as he launched another huge blast at the Hydra as it began to flinch slightly.
However, it was hard to actually damage it as the Hydra was too dense and too hard- as evident with Akuma's attacks and he continued until he had made a slight dent into the ferrous-like skin of the Nine-headed Hydra.
And as he made this slight dent- its fluid red blood squirted down from its huge body as it was evident all his heads felt that pain as with the flinching being a nod to pain.
But it was more like a paper cut if equivalent to that size and weight-
But this gave Akuma a new sense of hope- he was now equipped with the information that the Hydra could be pierced.
With this in mind, his eyes glowed blue with sparks of lightning coursing through his eyes-
As did his hands which sizzled with incredibly potent lightning- the Hydra in question was about to get thunderstruck-
And toasted real nice...
"RAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHRRRRR!!"
"RAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHRRRRR!!"
"RAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHRRRRR!!"
Screamed the Hydra- as it seemed to sense my malice- my intent and its destruction however I continued as I stood tall in the skies as if the favoured son of heaven- I stood in the skies ready to strike thunder at the fool below my very feet.
Submerging in the sea- his very body heat began to melt the vapours below me- the Hydra was getting ready to truly fight I could see it- all nine heads roared back as they locked eyes on me-
Pure golden fury was clear and evident as it stared through my mask looking at my shock-inducing pupils that could strike fear in even the invincible.
It was ready as it's very body began to gradually move up from the seas into the skies above-
Finally, it was ready- and a small smile rose on my face as I placed my hands to my waist as my arms that looked like Lightning Rods- honed and refined this shocking energy-
As it was then placed downwards- I was ready- I could do this and I knew it- I needed to do this.
I had beaten Arata and his Corpse-eaters- I had stopped an apocalypse and I had saved the east block of the federation- people cheered me on, they adored me, they trusted me and believed in me.
That was a lot and so much more than I'd ever felt or even felt in my entire life- I was ready- I had to make my predecessors proud- I was more than a man- I was a being of virtue- I was a symbol- I was Peace- I was a deterrent...
I was the reason crime tended to stay low and why aliens weren't here trying to kill us all-
'I can do this- I can do it- I can save them all- I am Akuma- the Devil- The warrior of justice. The guardian of Earth and much MORE!!-
I will destroy IT!!'
But this wasn't just about me- no it was about the world below and I was the symbol of peace ready to fight at any time to protect this world and everything precious to me- I was ready to end it all!!
'Yes- finally- I can do this- this beam will destroy or at least partially destroy this enemy- please someone give me confidence- so much that I don't affect any innocents- This- No I will win!'
"This was my City- the City, I'd NEVER fail!!"
Finally, his resolve had been tested as his eyes began to even more as half of his helmet broke off- with his silver hair in view as his one visible eye glowed blue with sparks zapping around the map.
The energy output was so great that his helmet broke in half revealing half of his face as his mouth began to leak blood in buckets- due to being unable to contain this much of the earth and its elemental force- he wasn't controlling it-
No, he was ingesting it- he was engulfing this heavenly force as an energy source constantly as his hands began to burn with a line of lightning ripping across his skin colouring his blood bright blue- he looked like a living blue glowstick-
But he endured it all if it meant he could save his home- he had to win this and he knew it his eyes could only see an enemy to be destroyed- finally he gritted his teeth as he placed his arms forward-
And like a lightning rod, he immediately placed them towards the Hydras body at its centre more accurately as if he was going to launch a Turtle Destruction Wave that Carotto used-
"AAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!"
"AAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!"
"AAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!"
"RAAAAARRGGHH- TAKE THISSSS!!!"
Screamed Akuma as his entire body let out an immense energy wave as it launched out with even his life force rushing to aid him increasing this beams incredibly immense devastating power-
Its two beams merged together as if intertwined and they rushed through the air as it hit the Hydra head-on without much difficulty.
But that was before- the Hydras body heat vaporised 1/3 of the sea it rose from incredibly warm it was and once 1/3 of the sea was vaporised this beat then roared back as it gave back an incredible-equally powerful beam of energy.
Through each of its mouths- nine to be specific it rushed straight at Akuma's Lifeforce injected beam as it collided causing enough shockwaves that the entire water spilt from side to side leaving a huge crater below as the beams continued to slam back and forth.
As if the two were Moses they split the seas as much of it had become vaporised due to the proximity and output of such warm and powerful energy.
But though this stalemate continued on for a long time- Akuma was hurting more than ever before and his body had constantly adapted to these injuries due to his growth of his Guardian's Physique-
Yet still, he felt pain and it caused him to grit his teeth as he could hear them grind against each other-
As if his innate potential and hidden power were unlocked he lunged forwards through the air as he went closer and closer to the Hydra's beam outputting even more energy than he had thought possible and with this happening, he noticed something surprising.
His extreme sense could hear all the words that were being said behind him and one voice especially it brought him a wave of nostalgia-
It was weird- and this wasn't it all- he heard multiple voices from behind him spouting his name in hope and admiration it brought a smile to his pained face as - could make out each voice- maybe it was because this was something familiar and due to the intense stress he was facing.
He could vaguely make out - Aoi's voice but not just her- Grandpa Daisuke, Kuuga- Shiori- Lee Yun- Ajay, Alexis- He could hear so many people chant his name out as waves of admiration flowed to him all in order for him to - "I'm Gonna Create A Miracle- This Cities Shining Bright..."
"Cause I AM HERE!!!"
And with that last sentence, his words seemed to flow into his energy as his willpower and determination increased his energy output- 'I am a hero to many- I am a role model- I'm here to make it right- I'm here to save you all- Because I AM HERE!'
His beam of energy almost tripled as he received the power of his friends as if an external energy source that powered him up even more- his eyes flashed blue as the impact from his beam of energy increased causing the skies to turn white as it began to override even the molten breath of the nine heads.
And as this increased in intensity- the water began to fizz out even faster.
And finally, the energy overwhelmed even Akuma as his entire chest piece broke up into small pieces due to the output of the energy and thus his chest was in the display as it was immensely burnt with blue lines flowing with electricity he looked electrified as his grin remained.
As he saw- as he knew- He Had Won!
He had won this ongoing war between Man and Hydra- he had tamed the beast as its head turned to leave yet they were too late as the beam pierced its heart/(hearts) entirely blasting a giant hole inside this beast's body.
And as this happened its remaining internals fell to the seas as it turned the giant seas 1/3 depleted red-
"Akuma's created the Red Sea- with the flesh and blood of his enemies- Impossible-!!"
But as good things came in so did the malevolent - just as the Lord Almighty created this world and this universe he also created the good and bad all for a reason and balance...
The balance was scaled on individual freedom of choice-
Thus there were those who revelled in this damage and potential new dissection and laboratory piece to experiment on and build weapons on.
"Sarge- what do we now- the body is not lost only buried- but the water is incredibly warm through our Scouters and research apparatus we have scaled the water to be an incredible 500,000,000 degrees celsius.
With this heat, we have no method of taking the blood and organs until this Carotto World matter has been resolved by Unidentified Lifeform N°1-
Who seems to be incredibly exhausted and we have no real way to identify this figure as all of our equipment melted or blurred when we attempted to capture footage of him as if he couldn't be digitally or physically remembered as if he had this wind of mystery surrounding him- fanning us away as if swatting flies."
Hearing that his Sarge merely grinned- a lethal one that said- 'Damn It!!'
"Forget it Shigeki report to Seven tell her to begin on the prototype immediately- once the debacle ends we can simply extract materials with our connections in the Parliament- Focus on the prototype and tell her to install a failsafe in it.
That will be all now- leave Shigeki- I expect great things from you- remember that hotshot!"
After Shigeki's turn, he exited out of Sarge's domain- as he headed to Seven.
'So- a device to match Akuma's strongest recorded feat that made the sea 500 Million Degrees Celsius- surely that was the result of the collision if so then how strong- no how dangerous exactly is the energy from Akuma's continual output especially when pushed to his limits he pushed his power further tripling the energy output-
If really thought of properly then what he launched was stronger than a Super Nova- just how strong are these monsters- to release more energy than a supernova at point-blank yet the monster wasn't dead instead slowly dying...
Just what has happened to our society... It's all f*cked up- with monsters like that what does that make us - ants to them that need otherworldly guidance and protection things to be exploited, manipulated and squeezed dry!'
