Capítulo 645: Extra 16: Gate (19)

Kurama was sitting in front of Hazama and a group of soldiers, who seemed to be the leaders of the group.

The soldiers were looking curiously at the white-haired man because it was the first time they were in front of a god, after all, they didn't even know if their religion was the right one, or if there really was a god in their world.

"Ahem! I'm sorry for the attitude of my subordinates, it's a pleasure to have you with us, Kurama-sama" - Hazama said while looking at the white-haired man - "Although now I'm curious to know what you're doing here."

"Well, first I came to escort your civilians" - said Kurama with a frown - "Second, I kindly ask you to please don't try to talk to me with that tone, not when you are invading this world with clear ulterior motives."

"I think your moral right to tell us that is a bit hollow, don't you?" - A man asked disdainfully, only to swallow a huge amount of saliva because he could notice the hostile gaze of the three women sitting behind the white-haired man.

The first was a white haired woman with long rabbit ears of the same color, she had an aura of royalty that showed she was not as plain as she showed herself to be.

The second was a brown-haired woman with long brown rabbit ears. Unlike the first, she had a military aura that showed she had hundreds of victories.

Finally, the third woman was a beautiful blonde woman with two large white wings coming out of her back.

"Foremost, we do not control the decisions of others, the person who attacked your world, was the megalomaniac prince of the empire" - Tyuule replied with a frown - "So I kindly ask you not to try to put all the inhabitants of this world in the same case. Secondly, a god does not control the minds of his devotees, they only give them their blessings, so no matter what things the devotees of a god do, it was not necessarily the gods who commanded them to do such actions. Thirdly, the prince was not a worshiper of Kurama-sama, so he is not to blame for his actions, much less when he was kind enough to save your people."

"Not to mention that it's not a good idea to mess with a god, you may not have an entity like them, but we know how catastrophic they are when they are furious" - said Mizari while letting out a small laugh - "More so when they have so many devotees."

The soldiers looked at each other as they felt something strange.

Hazama was silent as he tapped the desk in front of him and let out a sigh - "Ok, I think that's enough".

The soldiers relaxed a bit as they waited for their leader's next words.

"First, I want to thank you for helping our people" - Hazama said as he sighed - "Second, sorry for our attitude, in our world there are no gods, and if there are, they are entities that cannot be proven to exist"

"Now I'm curious to know more about your home, but let's leave that for another time because I'm sure you have some questions" - said Kurama calmly.

"Yes, first, I want to know if you understand how it is that this portal appeared" - Hazama muttered while pointing in the direction of the connection point between the two dimensions.

"In the least, there are events that transpire by the twists of fate" - replied Kurama as he began to think - "I can also assure you that none of the other gods understand the reason for this situation, although I wouldn't mind communicating with one of the apostles, although I recommend you to be careful with them because they are demigods."

"Apostles? Demigods?" - Hazama repeated as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, formerly mortals, but thanks to the blessing of the gods, they became their "children"" - replied Kurama calmly.

"They are your demigods?" - Hazama asked as he looked at the three women.

"I would like to, but no, I am his secretary" - answered Tyuule as the others introduced themselves as the leader of the war ministry and the ministry of information.

"I didn't think they had so much power in their hands" - muttered a soldier because he thought they were just sexy girls.

"Leaving aside the position of my subordinates, I want to know if there is anything else you need from me" - said Kurama while raising an eyebrow.

"We would like you to give us some information about this new environment, as well as information about our enemy, the empire" - Hazama answered seriously.

"Oh, the empire is not your enemy" - replied Kurama while shaking his head - "Your enemy is the prince who desired your territory in order to expand his power"

Hazama was silent before frowning as his plan made less and less sense - "Information, please?"

Kurama quickly explained the empire's situation to the soldiers.

Hazama frowned when he heard this as he started to think - "This makes things a little easier for us, with no real enemy to face in the near future, and with the rescue of the hostages, we can now accomplish our goal of trying to get a table of dialogue going with the people of this place."

"The reason?" - Kurama asked as he narrowed his eyes.

"To see if we can trade with you, we have items that you cannot imagine, while you have interesting items that could help us with some of our problems" - replied Hazama while closing his eyes - "Putting that aside, is there any difference in the biologics of the gods with the other living beings in this place?"

"Why do you ask that?" - Tyuule asked as she narrowed her eyes neutrally.

"Just simple curiosity from a biological standpoint" - Hazama replied, though inside he was thinking about the possibility of being able to kill a god in case things got out of control or one of them turned hostile against his troops, after all, they were technically invaders.

Kurama narrowed his eyes when he heard this, as a huge grin appeared on his face.

The soldiers felt as if a fox was smiling at them, which was normal when remembering that he was a Kitsune.

"I can't talk to the others, but I can assure you that none of your toys can hurt me, even those weapons of mass destruction" - Kurama replied with a much bigger grin - "What were they called? Oh, right, nuclear bombs!"

"!" - Hazama's eyes widened, terrified because he couldn't believe that the strange white-haired man knew about this kind of dangerous weaponry.

The soldiers tensed as the three women accompanying Kurama began to release a potent aura of hostility. They had wasted no time during these three years, they had trained until rest for the sole purpose of being close to their god and being able to become his apostles.

"How?" - Hazama asked with concern.

"I am an empath, I can feel the emotions of others, and if they are hostile, I can read them as if they were an open book" - answered Kurama with boredom - "Just by showing a little hostility towards me, I was able to know everything they hide, their weapons, their strategies, their goals, even their deepest secrets."

The soldiers trembled slightly as they prepared to attack, but Hazama stopped them. He could feel the cold kiss of death on his cheek, and as much as he didn't want to admit it, his instincts were screaming at him that the god in front of him wasn't lying.

"Well, now that we got that out of the way, I have to take my leave, I wish you a good stay in our world, though I ask you not to do something stupid, I'm not the only god who is watching you with interest" - Kurama said as he created a portal behind him.

The three women quickly entered, but not before giving the soldiers a few annoyed glances, after all, Kurama had confirmed that they had been hostile to him despite how kind he had been from the beginning.

"Soon, Emroy's apostle will be coming to see you, so I'm going to recommend that you be careful what you say in front of her" - Kurama said as he let out a laugh and withdrew.

The soldiers looked at each other with concern.

"Hazama-dono" - said a soldier as he looked at his leader.

"It's time we had a meeting, this place is more dangerous than we thought, and what's worse, our first enemy may be much more dangerous and annoying to deal with than we had intended" - Hazama said while letting out a sigh because it was obvious that the white haired man was not happy with his words, or the message they were trying to communicate.

Hazama had bluntly asked if it was possible to kill a god, which was not the best idea when he had one in front of him.
