Capítulo 39: Eli
This assassin was called Eli. And after passing through many obstacles, he finally arrived at the address that was presented to him for the kill. His target this time was a young dragon. He took out a razor-sharp bone and slowly made his way into the building. It was quite a large building with a lot of tenants, so it took him some time to get through as he tried his best not to be noticed by anyone.
Eli blended in with the darkness and moved as silent as the wind. When Eli finally reached Lar's room, he opened the door slowly and peeked inside, but he saw nobody. Eli, all of a sudden, felt extreme pain coursing through his body. Somebody was hitting him right in his family jewels as he felt like something had broken inside of him.
That was beyond any kind of pain he had ever felt, before he had trained his whole life; his body was a temple of effectiveness. Still, in that one moment, it didn't matter because it was one of his weak spots, and due to the hard hit and the pain that rushed into his head Eli had passed out.
Queen Sassy had notified Lars ' family at the time that Lar had been scheduled for the kill. And one of the maids around Queen Sassy's home had overheard their parents and what they were going to do. This maid loved Queen Sassy very much and did not want to see her lose her first love, so she immediately tried to notify her.
The maid came running into the room, yelling, "Princess Sassy, we have big trouble here today." A younger version of Queen Sassy, who was just the princess, was surprised. She asked, "what problem is so big to make you come to this room and shout?" The maid shook her head as she explained, "your mother and father has ordered a hit on your lover because they don't want any distractions in your upcoming marriage with the prince."
Sassy was extremely shocked about this and immediately left her room to go and warn Lar and his family. The maid wondered if she had done the wrong thing but quickly shut that off. She had no regrets anymore. Sassy immediately jetted through the territory, heading for the low-income area, jumping over on top of the rooftops, and making her way to Lars ' place.
She was beyond tired, but she kept on running. Eventually, she even had to use her ice elements. She was creating some slides for her to slide down, which increased her speed drastically. Princess Sassy finally reached Lars ' place after an hour of traveling. Due to the territory being so big, it took quite a long time to get to the low-income side from the royalty side.
Sassy had to pass through the high-class area and the common area to get to the low-class part of the territory. Queen Sassy barged into Lar's house, gasping for breath. Everybody there was shocked as they asked, " Princess Sassy, what's wrong?" She was trying to talk, but she was so out of breath. Sassy started choking and coughing. Lar's family members quickly sat Princess Sassy down as they tried to calm her down. They gave her water and something to eat. And eventually, Sassy was finally calm and was about to break the news to them.
Sassy arrived at Lar's house and was about to break the news after calming down. Lar's family asked, "what's wrong, Princess Sassy?" Everybody looked at her, concerned. She finally broke it to them. Sassy said, "Lar is a target to be assassinated because of his connections with me. So you guys must leave this place immediately."
Everybody was shocked about this as Lar's father asked, "what level is the assassin? Sassy was surprised as she said, "I do not know, but he will be here today or tomorrow to finish Lar off. So we must hurry and escape. You must take Lar far from here. He has the potential to be great in the future." They were all worried, and Lar said, "okay, Mama and Papa, let's go right now because I don't want to die now."
Just when they were about to pack up and leave, the father said, "you guys can go, I will stay here and wait for him. To show him that just because they're high class or royalties doesn't mean they have to mess with us, low-class creatures." Sassy admired Lar's father and didn't want to see anything happen to him.
She yelled at him, saying, "you must escape too, and you must live on for Lar. Who's going to train him and get him into the Kingsguard if you are gone?" Princess Sassy was sad. Lar's father was surprised, but smirked and said, "I'm quite strong, and I don't fear anybody, including the king. So let's get this over with, you guys go find a safe place to be while I set up traps for this guy." Everyone in the house escaped, and Sassy went back to her home and pretended like nothing was wrong. She secretly hated her parents for trying to take the love of her life.
Now back to Eli, the assassin who was killed and hanging from the front of the house, all bloodied up and beaten. When morning came, everybody saw this sight and was shocked. Eli was killed, nobody had a clue who Eli was while Lar and his family had moved away. But they were still in the territory. Sassy had helped them out by giving them her savings to get a new place.
Lar had changed his looks as he still wanted to get his family out of the situation. He trained even harder every day, going through all kinds of obstacles and had finally gotten into the training camp for the Kingsguard. Due to his potential, he was recommended through a great teacher that Sassy had hooked him up with. Princess Sassy had also gotten married, causing great heartache and pain to Lar, who was deeply in love with her.
But Sassy was able to get into contact with Lar after a few months and were still having secret meetings. The prince at that time had finally gotten the crown. And Sassy had become the queen by marrying him. So due to her always sneaking off, the new king was quite suspicious. He asked her about it one time. She had told him that she usually goes and helps out the poor down in the lower class area. The Dragon King was surprised and admired her even more. Even though Queen Sabrina was not in love with the Dragon King, the Dragon King was in love with her as he started to respect her kind-heartedness.
