Death and despair.
In the wake of Edwyn's manslaughter, the masters witnessed their worst nightmares. Anyone who was deemed guilty in Edwyn's eyes was punished.
Hanging upside down with their toes nailed to the walls of Yunkai, their penises cut off and used as gags, their bodies doused in viscous poison and slowly getting skinned as the poison trikled down their legs towards their torso, the masters could do nothing but live through the horrors being inflicted upon them.
Razdal Mo Eraz screamed to the heavens above, pleading forgiveness yet his redemption never came. He realised a little too late. Daenerys wasn't the real threat. No, it was the monster in human skin. The demon who reaped through the Second Sons like a sickle cutting grass.
Edwyn Baratheon, the dreaded Maelstrom against whom no one wished to raise their swords.
What happened to Yunkai was soon made known to the entire land of Essos.
Masters of Mereen and New Ghis were terrified of him. The mear thought of him planning to attack them next was eating their sleep away. Their tall pyramids, their legacy, their gold and armies felt small and insignificant against the storm of bloodshed and carnage.
Urgent meetings were held. The worahipers of the red god were consulted. Something... anything that could work against that animal, the masters spend every ounce of gold they had to amass an army of hundreds of thousands.
New Ghis and Mereen joined hands in launching a combined attack against Daenerys and her army of ten thousand unsullied.
Many laughed at them for taking so many measures against such a small army.. but the masters knew better.
Back in Yunkai, Daenerys was pacing around in her chambers. Edwyn had went ahead and conquered Yunkai on his own unlike they had originally planned. She cursed herself for letting her doubts infuence her to such an extent. She should have known better. Edwyn didn't want to be a king. She had his support so it didn't matter if she sat on the throne. As long as he was beside her, she would have the support of the common folk.
'But, every Queen needs a King...'
She blushed a little and shook the thoughts away. Edwyn hadn't responded to her advances. Clearly, he didn't think of her to be someone he could love.
The pain in her chest at the thought of it was unbearable. He was someone who understood her. She was Daenerys Stormborn of house Targaryen, the unburnt, the mother of dragons and yet, she felt detached. But Edwyn, he made her feel like she was much more. With him, she could forget about all of her worries.
Edwyn was her sun and more than anything, even more than being the Queen of the Seven kingdoms, she wanted to live happily with him by her side.
She prayed that because of her moment of selfishness and jealousy, she hadn't ruined the trust she had so painstakingly build in Edwyn.
As she was thinking, Missandei entered her chambers and said, "Your Grace, Ser Jorah is here to see you."
Daenerys stopped and said while nodding, "Send him in."
Jorah Mormont, the exiled knight had been with her since the time she was sold off to Drogo. He had been her advisor and her confidante. But ever since Edwyn arrived, Jorah was overshadowed by the sheer presence and magnificence of the red eyed prince.
Warmth filled her eyes as Jorah entered her chambers and bent his knee to greet her.
Daenerys smiled and said, "Rise, Ser Jorah."
"Khaleesi, I have come here with a plea."
Confused, she asked, "A plea?"
Jorah nodded and said, "Aye, Khaleesi. Since the moment Edwyn Baratheon began travelling with us, he has been manipulating you under the guise of guidance. He is a dangerous man, Khaleesi. You saw yourself what he did to the Second Sons and the masters. What's stopping him from slaughtering the rest of us?"
Daenerys looked at Jorah incredulously. To think he would say something like that..
Angry, Daenerys spoke while clenching her jaw, "Jorah Mormont! Do not speak of him in such a way or I will have your tongue removed!!"
Jorah panicked and hastily said, "Khaleesi! What I am saying is the truth! He conquered Yunkai in your stead! The former slaves see him as their saviour and not you. The masters of Mereen and New Ghis, they are afraid of him instead of you! What if when you sit on the iron throne, the people don't acknowledge you as their queen? They worship him! As long as he is alive, you will never be accepted as the Queen of the seven kingdoms."
Daenerys' chest heaved as she barely managed to hold herself back from killing the insolent man.
Eyes red with anger, she roared, "The nerve of you, Jorah Mormont!! Edwyn has helped me in ways you will never understand! It was my error, my envy that caused yesterday's fight! If he ever decided to be the king then he shall have 'my' sword by his side!! Do not, ever, try to poison me with your words! Leave my presence before your head leaves your body!!"
Jorah was literally blown away by the wrathful aura Daenerys was emitting. He quickly scambled on his feet and ran with his tail tucked between his legs like a dog.
Daenerys took a few deep breaths and calmed down.
'I will never betray Edwyn.'
Meanwhile, the said man was glaring up a petulant lizard who thought it could prey upon anything in its sight.
Behind Edwyn were a pair of father and son cowering away from the dragon.
"You dumbass dragon!!"
Drogon roared at being insulted and bared its teeth.
Edwyn continued, "How many times do I have to tell you not to eat random people?! If you are hungry then you are supposed to hunt in the wilderness!! Get that in your fucking head you piss ass reptile!!!"
Enough! The human may be someone his mother loved but no one insults a dragon and lives to tell the tale...!
Or so the poor dragon thought.
The moment Drogon breathed out a stream of fire at him, Edwyn shook his head in disappointment.
He made a seal with his hand and then...
'Majestic Destroyer Flame.'
Drogon knew that he messed up. The flame of the man his mother loved was much stronger and hotter than his.
He tried to evade but the sea of fire was too wide and fast for him and so it hit him directly into the chest. Drogon roared and shrieked in pain.
Through the fire, Edwyn emerged with a glowing blue orb and said, "It's about time you recieved a spanking for being a spoilt brat."

A/N: Hi lovely readers!! Ugh.. my thimbs hurt from typing this chapter... Sooo Daenerys' intentions are pretty clear. But, will Edwyn ever reciprocate? To be honest, it depends on how I feel... I've been thinking of ways to pair him with others. It's still work in progress so pairing is undecided.
Since Edwyn wants to return to Westeros asap, the timeline is a little different. Unlike the canon, here Yunkai is conquered way before. Rob Stark is still alive so you now have an idea where the story is according to canon.
