They had arranged the chairs back, the housemaid was cleaning the floor and packing the bottle on the floor. Sarana was in her room with her friends, what happened rid clear to her at all. Mr Tayo too was in his room resting and those that came had left including the Alfa promised to come back on Saturday as Adam's father had said.
Mrs Tayo and her friend Mrs Olotun were at the main living room.
"What are we going to do now? Can't be just looking!"
"I don't know at all!" Mrs Olotun replied with low voice.
"But you said that the child is at the orphanage house right!"
"Yes!, I put her at the orphanage house"
"You still remember the place very well?"
"Yes! I do, I remembered!"
"Good!, we are going there now because no time!"
"She can't be at that place any longer, it's a long time ago!"
"I know! But if we get there they will have the record of the person that abopted her and we will go and meet that person"
"If we know the person as you said, do think he or she will going to release the child for us. Let think of it very well!"
"We will explain everything to them and tell him or her that we just want the child to show face to her father and nothing more, even the person can follow us or bring her by themselves on Sunday"
"This thing can't easy as you are saying it, it's because you are just saying that we have not start taking step on it that is why you think it easy. It's not at all!"
"Off course it will!, with the evidence from the orphanage house the person too will understand now!"
"Okay! I heard you!" Said with lower voice and breathe in.
"Your cloth is here, let go and change so that we can meet them and also tell my husband that we are going to the orphanage house"
"I will go like this, can't change. You go and am waiting"
"Okay!, give me some minutes, I will be here!" She stood up.
"No problem!" Just thinking and she had fed up.
"Rest your mind my friend! Everything will be fine" going to the room.
"Just be fast!" Shaking her legs and looking so worried. Mrs Tayo got there after few minutes.
"Let go my friend!" Mrs Olotun stood up, took the bag and they left the room. Got down to the big living room, the housemaid greeted them and they left the house. Entered into Mrs Tayo's car and drove out.
"What is the name of that orphanage house? And where are will going to?" Just drove out of the house.
"Good care orphanage house----"
"At Ikeja side right?" Mrs Tayo said.
"Yes!, it's very popular and standard even that is why I dropped her there for future purpose!"
"Okay!" Turned and continued driving.
It took them two hours and some minutes to get there, got down from the car and entered the house. Met the receptionist and asked for their manager's office, she described it for them and they followed it. They got to the office and knocking at the door.
"Come in! The door is opened!" A middle age man said, door opened and closed and two of them entered.
"Good afternoon Sir!" Mrs Tayo greeted.
"Afternoon! Please have your seat!" Two of them pull the chairs out and sat down on it.
"So! How can I help you Ma?"
"Thank you Sir!, it's my friend that brought a girl here like some years back so we are here now to ask for her"
"Sorry Madam!, which year did you brought the child here!"
"It is 1996 Sir!" Mrs Olotun said.
"1996 and we are in 2018 now that is twenty- two years back. So! How old is she than?"
"She is two years old then!"
"Sorry! I jut have to ask all these questions, she was born when?"
"No problem Sir!, she was born in 1994"
"Who brought her here then?"
"Am the one that brought her that time!"
"Okay! Which name did you put down for her that time?" The man was writing everything down as he was asking and the replys.
"Balikis. Yusufar and that is it her father's name"
"The girl can't be in this orphanage any more that years as long, may be she has been adopted by someone or government had sent her out of the country. That is the two options it will be"
"We know that too, help us to check the one that it be!" Mrs Tayo said.
"I will try, check the record and know the whereabout of the child now!"
"Thank you very much Sir!" Mrs Tayo said.
"But you will have to come back"
"We will!, which day is that?"
"Tomorrow! Anytime tomorrow. We will have get the record ready"
"No problem Sir! Thank you once again Sir!"
"Thank you very much Sir!" Mrs Olotun said with lower voice.
"You are welcome!" The man said and closed the book.
"Bye Sir!" Two of them stood up and left the office.
They arrived back to Mrs Tayo's house in the night because of the terrible traffic on their way, it was Mrs Tayo's house that Mrs Olotun wanted to sleep so that it could easy for them to go back in the morning and Mrs Tayo's house was still closed to the orphanage house.
Door opened and closed, two of them entered. It was all of them that were in the living room including Sarana too, Olawale had went to their house with Zinara and it was his mother that ordered him.
"Welcome back Ma!" Sarana greeted them.
"Yes! Thank you!" Her mother said.
"So! How was where you went to? Have you get the child?"
"No! Tell us to come back tomorrow, they will have get the record ready before we will get there" Mrs Olotun said.
"The man said that the child may be had adopted or government should have sent her out of the country. So they will check the record to know the one that it be, if get there tomorrow we will know!"
"Okay! God will take control!" Mr Tayo said.
"Sarana! Please get me water, am thirsty!" Mrs Tayo said.
"Okay! Mom, I should set your table"
"Yes! Just give me the water first, my friend! You don't want water"
"She should get me water!, bring water for me too!"
"Okay! Ma" replied from the dining room.
"Everything will be fine, Mrs Olotun!" Mr Tayo said, Sarana got there and gave them bottles water.
Two of them had woke in the next morning, dressing and they had been ready to go to the orphanage house.
"Be fast please! My friend!" Mrs Tayo said.
"Am coming my friend!" Looking at the mirror and tiring her gale.
"We don't have time this woman!"
"I have done!, let go" carried her bag and left the room, got down to the living room. The housemaid was the only person that just woke up except from them and cleaning the living room.
"Good morning Ma and Good morning Madam!"
"Morning! Clean everywhere very well and tell Sarana to go to shop!"
"I will tell her Ma!, bye Ma!" They left the room, entered into the car and drove out. The gate man closed the gate and went to his room.
They arrived to the orphanage house with the same hours and minutes that they spent yesterday, exchanged greetings with the receptionist and going to the man's house. Door opened abad they entered.
"Welcome and sit down!" The man said and they sat down.
"Good morning Sir!" Mrs Tayo greeted.
"Morning!" The man greeted back.
"Did you remember our face Sir?"
"Off course I did!, that you came here yesterday on your child's case"
"Yes! Sir, you really did!" Mrs Olotun said
"We have checked the files and we have see her records!"
"Okay! Sir, so how is it?"
"Let me call the bookkeeper to bring the record now!" Using the intercom to contact the bookkeeper.
"I told you that it will easy!"
"Yes! My friend!" Door opened and closed, the bookkeeper entered.
"This is the record of the girl Sir, I greet you Ma!"
"Thank you my lady!" Mrs Tayo said.
"Good!, you can go back to your post!"
"Yes Sir!" The lady left and the door closed.
"1994!, this is the child right and you?" Showing them the picture.
"Yes Sir!, I remembered they took our picture that day"
"She had been adopted when she was four to five years old and in 1998" Reading it from the file.
"By who please?, that is the important thing!" Mrs Tayo said.
"By Mr and Mrs Tayo!" Two of them looked at each others and Mrs Tayo was so surprised.
"This is their picture!, here we uses to take the picture of the person that bring someone even may be they just see him or her on the road be police or someone else, we will take their picture and the person that later adopted her for future purpose like this!"
"You and your husband adopted a child?" Asked With surprised.
"Yes! We do, when we are the marriage for some years and without a child so we adopted a child to be looking on!"
"Then where is she?-----" She shouted.
