Capítulo 21: CHAPTER 21
Adam's father had traveled to Ghana it was almost four days now to have meeting with his business partners and also doing some other tasks. For the four days that he had used his phone didn't had rest it was every time he was calling to settle fight or talk to Adam.
Adam got down to the living room, dressed in outfit cloth and wanted to go to his friend's house named Sina to spend day together. He checked the table that all the car keys used to be and didn't found his own car key among them, checked them very separated all the key and looking at them one after the others. When he couldn't find it there, beld down and continued seeking for it under the chairs.
It had been taking him more than one hour seeking for the key, went to his room checked everywhere and the likely place he could put it in his room wanted to look for it very well and sure before going to meet his stepmother because he didn't wanted any trouble that morning which could lead to calling his father again. He cleaned his hand with a cloth and his body, dropped it on the bed in his room and left the room, going to his stepmother's room when be met her at the corridor going to the living room wearing outfit cloth and carried a bag.
"Did you take my car key?" Said with anger.
"Adam! What is it this morning?" Didn't stopped walking and Adam too was following her.
"Stop walking and hear me!, did you take my car key?"
"You are looking for your car key right!" Entered the living room, sat down on the chair and Adam was standing at her front looking with anger.
"Yes! Answer me?, where is it?" Shouted at her.
"Anyways! Am the one that took it, your father said that he will buy mine own for me but he is not back not talk of buying it and now I want to go out!"
"How dare you take my car key, give it to me now!"
"I said I want to go out now and it's one that I love to take out, so if you know that you can't take another car may be when I came back!" Said with lower voice and stood up with the car key, Adam looked around the house.
"Who are you talking to?"
"You! Adam off course!" Said with loud voice.
"You are in Sinai!, give me the car key now!"
"Take another car, am going out!" Just took a step and Adam gripped the key from her hand with force, so with the power that he used to collect the key and that she had be heavy she fell on the floor and started screaming, it had lead it to labor pain.
"Ah! Eh!! Adam!!!, my back!!"
"Look here woman! You can't pretend to me at all it's father that you can pretend to! Nonsense!!" Said with anger and left the room, door closed with anger.
"Yeah!! Eh!! Oh my God, oh! God help me!" No one was in the house to hear her voice, the gate man had took a week leave went home to see his sick child and the driver had went to service one of the cars.
"Ah! Ah!! Ehh!! No one is at home--- no one oh!! Eh-- God! Am in pain!" She removed the bag from her hand opened it and brought out her phone, quickly dialing her husband mobile number and seriously in pain.
"Hello my beautiful wife!"
"Yeah! Yeah!! Help me please-- am in pain--"
"What happened to you?" Said with fear.
"Labour pain!, I have been in labour-- help!!"
"Okay! Where is Adam?"
"Uh! Uh!! He has went out-- no one to call--"
"Leave you in this condition or he had left before it started?". " No! No!!" Breathing with force.
"Okay! Let me call him, he just left the house right!"
"Yes! Be fast please!!" Adam's father hang up.
Adam had got to his friend's house and forgot the phone inside the car because of the anger of what happened at home, phone ringing the car for like five times and stopped. His stepmother was still roaming on the floor breathing heavy when her husband called back and quickly picked it.
"I called him like five times but he doesn't picked!"
"Please!! Find another way-- don't let me die!!"
"Okay! Okay!!, you won't Masha Allah!"
"Ameen!! Ameen!! Be fast please!!"
"Let me call our family doctor!" He hang up.
The doctor was coming out from the ward when his phone started ringing, brought it out inside the lab coat and picked the call.
"Hello Sir! Good morning sir!" Greeting.
"Go to my house right now!, my wife is in labour and no one is with her"
"Okay! Okay!! Sir"
"Please! Be fast please!! "Yes sir!" He hang up, called the two nurses coming out from the ward and walked closed to him, begged one of them to help him called a doctor that there was emergency and she left. As she left, he called one of the messager.
"Thank you for passing, quickly help me to go and call the Ambulance's driver that there is emergency!"
"Okay! Sir" he ran to the left direction when the nurse and the second doctor got there.
"Hi! Am here, she said there is emergency!"
"I just received call from Adam's father said that his wife is in labour right now and no one to bring her to the hospital" explained.
"Okay! Let go, no time at all!"
"We are waiting for the driver!" Second nurse said
"Am here Sir!" The driver ran to them and all of them left the place, entered into the ambulance and drove out of the hospital on the emergency light.
Adam's father had been distrusted in the hotel that he was, calling his wife every seconds and also calling Adam but the phone was still inside the car. The doctor and co arrived there, rushed out from the car brought out the stretcher when the doctor's phone started ringing and picked it.
"Hello! Have you get there!"
"Yes! Sir, we have get there now!"
"Okay! Thank you"
"Doctor! The gate is locked" the driver said.
"Check it very well!" The second doctor said.
"The gate is locked!" Respected.
"Have you see my wife!" Still on call with the doctor.
"Sir!, the gate is locked!" Said with lower voice.
"Oh! That is how we use to do, now the key is with Adam and with my wife inside!"
"What are we going to do now?" Second doctor asked.
"The woman inside can die!" First nurse said.
"It's true! Let act fast quickly!" Second nurse said.
"Find something to do quickly! Please" Adam's father said. "Go and find nearby welder quickly!"
"Yes sir!" The driver said, entered into the ambulance and drove away from that place.
"What are you doing now?" Adam's father asked.
"The driver has left to find a nearby welder to break the gate" explained to him.
"Good! Be fast please"
"We are trying Sir and we will!"
"Don't let her dead, I beg of you!"
"We are trying Sir and God will help us!" He hang up.
"Hello my wife!!" Called his wife as he dropped.
"Uh! Uhh!! Please safe my life! Safe my life!!"
"Okay! Okay!! Everything will be fine, I promised!"
"It has been getting too late---" breathing heavily.
"Please! Please!! Rest your mind, I beg of you!"
The doctors and the nurses were still standing outside at different corners waiting for the driver.
"God should safe this woman life!" Prayed.
"Ameen! Ameen!! I too prayed" second nurse said.
"It has been more than two hours now that we have left the hospital, in this case it's only God that can safe her" the first nurse said.
"It's true! It's more that two hours oh!" Second doctor said when the driver arrived, packed beside them and him and the welder got down.
"Thank God! His here!" Doctor said.
"Help us to break the padlock quickly!" Second doctor said talking to the welder.
"Who is going to pay me and do that now!" The welder said and talked like gangster.
"We will pay you just be fast!"
"I know you are in emergency now so pay me before enter or before breaking the padlock"
"What is doing you, do it now!" Said with anger.
"Take your money idiot!" The second doctor gave him #500 without brother to ask him his price.
"Good!" Put it inside his pocket and walked closed to the gate with the instruments.
"After we have enter take the ambulance in"
"Okay! Sir" entered into the ambulance.
"Am done!" The welder said and opened the gate wide opened, all of them ran inside and the driver drove the ambulance in. Door opened and closed when call entered again from Adam's father.
"What is going on now!"
"We have entered!"
"Woman! Woman!!" The nurse calling her, the doctor too dropped from the call and knelt down it them.
"Talk! Woman! Madam!!" Shouting in chorused.
