Capítulo 11: CHAPTER 11
Adam's father got down to the living room, he had dressed and ready to go to work. His wife was in the living room when he got there packing food inside a small bag for him.
"Good morning! My husband" she greeted.
"Good morning!, how was your night?"
"Fine!, take of yourself and I pack your food" gave it to him.
"Thank you! I am on my way"
"Bye! Bye!! My husband" he had got to the door when Adam got there.
"Good morning daddy!" Him to had ready to go to where he was doing the service.
"Morning! My Son, you wake up late today"
"Yes! Daddy, my phone alarm off itself"
"Adam! Good morning" his stepmother greeted.
"Daddy! I am going, I have late already"
"Your stepmother is talking you! Adam"
"You said what?" Faced his stepmother.
"You wake up in the morning, no greeting and I still greeted you don't reply"
"Did I ask for your greeting!, I told you to greet me!" Shouted at her.
"Adam! If you wake up in the morning, you will greet everybody in this house not only me. That is rude you know!"
"I am sorry daddy, so sorry!"
"So say Good morning to her!"
"Daddy said I should say Good morning to you!"
"Not like that!, greet her as you greet him and with respect"
"Okay! Daddy, good morning"
"Morning! How was your night"
"Answer that!" Said with loud voice.
"Adam! I think you are all right!"
"Yes daddy! I am going don't let me late than this, take care"
"Okay! My wife, take care of yourself" door opened and closed.
She went to the kitchen to clean it and came down to the living room after few minutes put the food on the table, on the television and sat down.
It was in the afternoon, Adam and his father got home at the same time, packed at the car park and entered the living room. Adans's stepmother had cooked lunch for them and she was in the living room resting on the chair.
"Welcome! My husband and Adam" greeted and sat down properly.
"How are you?" Sat on the chair and off the jacket.
"I am good!, how was work today?"
"Fine!, set my table please" he stood up and going to his room to change.
"Okay!, my husband" she stood up and went to the kitchen.
Adam didn't said a word just went straight to his room to change; he got down to the living room after three minutes sat on the chair and looking, his father too got there and sat beside Adam when his stepmother came down from the kitchen.
"My husband and Adam, I have set the table"
"What did you cook?" Adam asked.
"Semo!, it's you that said you want to eat it"
"I am not eating Semo again, I want to eat Amala"
"Okay! Give me some minutes it will ready"
"Be fast!, I am waiting" she went to the kitchen.
"Adam! But it's you that said Semo when I called you even that is why me too decided to eat it; I don't like the way you are doing!"
"I am sorry Daddy, just feel like not to eat it again" said with lower voice.
His father stood up and went to the dining room, opened the food prayed and started eating. After few minutes Adam's food had ready, she came out from kitchen set the table and called Adam.
"Okay! I am coming right now" Adam said.
"Wow! I enjoy the meal, thank you my wife" Adam got to the dining room sat on the chair and his father went to the living room.
"You are welcome my husband" packed the plates to the kitchen.
"Why is that you don't use to put salt in the foods" talked to his stepmother, going to the living room.
"But there is salt there now" his father said and his stepmother sat beside her husband.
"The soup doesn't have taste at all, I don't know how you can ate it Daddy"
"Adam! The soup is good,, try to appreciate what someone did" his father said.
"I appreciated it and that is why am eating it"
"I know the reason why you are doing like this!" Said with lower voice.
"Like what? Dad" his stepmother was just looking at Adam.
"Complaining every time and every day; this morning you remember what you did to her forcing you to greet her!"
"I am sorry dad!" Said with lower voice.
"Sorry for yourself!"
"It is okay! My husband it okay"
"Okay! My wife" Adam looked at her with bad eyes and continued eating. Since all those days the stepmother was trying to let Adam love her and doing everything he wanted but as she was doing it all her efforts were just wasted.
"I want to tell you something!"
"What is it?" Low the volume of the television.
"I want to do baby shower!"
"Baby shower?" Her husband asked.
"Yes! And I will need six cake and six pack of soft drinks"
"Just for baby shower!" Adams shouted from the dining room.
"I want to have big party, very big"
"Don't have big party, do it small! Like sitting room something"
"I can't do it like that!, sitting room party! I can't"
"There is no money for all those things!"
"Six cakes! Is too much even if you want it to be big, six cakes! And six! Pack of drinks what happen!" Adam said.
"do it in the sitting room here and few people" her husband said.
"Okay! I heard you but I will still need three cakes and three pack of soft drinks"
"That one still better!" Adams said, washed his hands inside a bowl.
"So Which day did you fix for it?"
"Next tomorrow! My husband"
"Okay! But I won't be around, I have a meeting"
"It's true! You told me, no problem them! Me and Adam will take care of it"
"Take of what? What are you taking care!" Packing the plates together.
"The party off course! Or what are we talk on"
"Am the one that told you to organize it!"
"Adam! Did you realize it's your stepmother that you are talking to!" His father shouted.
"Sorry daddy!, we have not even know if father is the true biological father of the baby" said with lower voice.
"You said what?, what did you say?" His father asked.
"Nothing daddy!" Took the plates and went to the kitchen; washed it and came down to the living room sat on another chair.
