Capítulo 29: First Tier Scientists

"What took you so long?", Thomas said as he walked towards them, apparently alongside Lani, he had already sighted the three of them drawing near and what he couldn't understand was how he got there before them, no it was how Lani and Gabriel got there before them.

Halting to stand in front of the already assembled trio, he heard Mateo say, "We're sorry for the delay T but on our way, we were attacked by fifteen mutants which I presume were on their way to Winters."

Nodding to show he understood, Thomas asked again, "And after that?" He was no fortune teller but he knew fifteen mutants couldn't hold them now for that long unless the mutants played one of their many underhanded tricks- again, at least it wasn't their first time he pondered as he glared sharply at the limp men being dumped into a corner of the buggy by Gabriel just like he asked before he harrumphed subtly in satisfaction.
