Capítulo 103: Chapter 93
"You don't need a reason, you try things because you want to. You just start to do things that you really like." Nozomi said to Eli. "You don't need to hold everything in your hands, count on us as well, that's what friends are for." Hiroto also told Eli. Before she joined them, she knew she was so troublesome to deal with, it may be like that for all of them. Well, before, she had an ample amount of frustration with the sudden creation of the group.
"Harasho~ I was just trying to do things on my own albeit right now, they had forgiven me." Eli though as she calmed herself down, feeling a little scared and nervous. It reminded her of the past ballerina she did. In the past, she got a little depressed when she got low ranks on the competitions, she knew she didn't have much to improve in ice-skating, although she was good for other people's perspective, it wasn't for the coaches and masters of the profession and for them, she was just as good as an average ballerina that couldn't much improve for later. Even if she thinks a little negatively, the expression on her face didn't change that much.
Eli knew that, so she stopped and attended school to get into a top college but before she could finalize her plan, her grandmother, though, just remembering some of her memories had told her about Otonokizaka Academy. From then, she decided to help her grandmother, and after she became a high school student had traveled to Japan and applied at the academy.
Right now, Eli had joined the group, she was one of them, now a friend, she didn't have to take all the burden. They were a group, so everyone had their own fair share of pressure. They already had experienced many things this month. Practicing, exercising, rehearsal and she was even to experience new things she didn't honestly try out ever since. Every one of them was approachable.
While she also discovered quirks of the male who had initially been always so cool-headed but right now, she could easily see him getting scolded by the red-haired girl.
Thinking like that made it easier for her heart at ease but also got a little excited about their performance later. Even her student council members were so excited as they could easily see the mass of students wanting to watch them, they nodded at each other before raising the banners in their hand, with taglines for their beautiful and wonderful student council president.
Eli really felt grateful at everyone's kindness, she smiled so honestly. Nozomi saw her face and immediately grinned towards her.
Nozomi playfully said while putting a finger on her lips, "Ah~ Elicchi's going to cry, looks like she got overcome with emotion." Everyone looked at her before looking at the blonde-haired student council that had an irritated expression on her face.
"Nozomi!" With a giggle as a reply, the girls approached the sullen Eli albeit, in reality, she was just so happy right now. She looked behind while crossing her arms, as she acted like a certain someone made everyone who saw her antic giggled towards the scene.

Where they would bloom the most, the U's members were currently waiting for the cue of their performance. Hiroto was currently looking at the board on his hand, checking if there weren't any problems. He put a check on everything before putting the board on a table and approaching the girls just behind the stage curtain.
"Are you ready girls?" Hiroto asked the girls who were silently preparing on the side. As they had been doing in the past, the girls had come to always perform a prayer before they perform. It was to remove their nervousness which was useless as having their close friends alongside totally eased every girl's mind.
"Yes! Aren't we girls?!" Honoka and the others nodded with much energy as she. Honoka's ribbons on her braided side tail were so cute as it dangled, while seemingly in a match with their complex reddish-pink colored outfit. It won't be possible to make their cute and girlish outfits without the help of the legendary Minalinsky. Kotori had always tried her best in making better and better outfits for everyone. She was even persistent in making them by herself but they didn't have time so they had other people to help sewing the dainty dress. In the end, they still had gotten matching outfits without any changes to the original design.
Everyone looked beautiful and amazing, he said motivational words to each of them before approaching Maki and making her more comfortable, it seems that she had also wanted some motivational words, so he acceded and talked with her while patting her head in the process. She also wore a ribbon albeit a lavender-colored one with a design of a little bouquet of roses on the left side of her hair.
Maki looked and saw Hiroto's calm and tender looking face, she whispered with a hint of embarrassment on her cheeks. Seeing other gazes made her a little flustered, but she just tried not to mind it as he slid his hand down on her hair, completely removing her nervousness for the coming event.
"Goodluck." He said softly, which she replied with a small nod and looked at him tenderly as if feeling more in love. Albeit, before the pink hue and flowers fully materialized got immediately shattered when Umi fake coughed to get their attention. Seemingly knowing her intentions, Maki smiled knowingly although Umi felt a little embarrassed.
"I-I just-" Maki knowingly smiled before moving towards the embarrassed girl. Honoka and Kotori though had big eyes when they saw their friend being like that, it was always refreshing seeing their serious friend get flustered.
"How?" While questions and intrigued appeared in their minds but before they could satiate their curiosity. The light overhead suddenly turned off, prompting the start of their live performance. He clapped to get attention before speaking loudly.
"Girls! The live performance is starting! Get in your positions!" Hiroto moved to the side while the other personnel followed with a thumbs up towards the girls.
"Yes!!" Everyone moved to their positions and took a deep breath as they saw the curtain getting pulled to the sides.
Luckily, there were many interested students watching, they were mainly from middle school nearby while the others were their usual fans visited from other cities. In his estimation, there were probably around 200 students, the majority of whom were girls while some had brought their parents to watch. Some boys were as well, had attended but they were at the furthermost back. The field was large and it wasn't packed since there were only some numbers of students. Adults weren't allowed unless you're a parent of one of the middle school students but outside you would be able to see fans of him waiting and wanting to see his performance, they also wanted to watch the group he was supporting live but since someones had already put the event live, they would be able to watch it in real-time.
Earlier, he and the others from the student council had given pamphlets to everyone watching snacks so that they won't be bored during the small time of preparations. While the major plan during this event was to highlight their school idol group, of course, other events were also planned throughout the day so that they could convince students to enroll in the school.
The curtain narrowed leaving behind everyone to see the impactful fluttery pink looking stage, with balloons and in the center where the girls curiously looked towards the students around. As usual, at the start, Honoka walked forward and introduced themselves with a happy expression. In the last part Honoka introduced Eli and Nozomi as the new members of the group.
"We're Otonokizaka Academy's school idol group U's. We really love this school a lot! We were able to come this far because all nine of us attend this school. We're about to sing you the first song we made after getting nine members!" Honoka said, everyone, walked forward alongside her and lined up.
"The song of the beginning huh. I guess this could really count." Hiroto gazed around before looking up at the stage with a proud smile plastered on his face. Counted as a breakthrough towards their excursion, still great progress since they had just been uploading music videos while not performing in real-time.
The student fans, eyes already wanting to shout but couldn't speak because of the silence all around. Arisa, Yukiho, and their friends had even found themselves mesmerized by the scene as they watched with smiling faces.
"Please listen to us! Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE!" Honoka and co. had said, as the cue started the music and they began to perform the dance steps that they had been practicing for the month.
"Tashika na ima yori mo atarashii yume tsukamaetai. Daitan ni tobidase ba O.K. mai raifu. Nozomi wa ookiku ne. Senobi datteba takaku tooku. Mabushii ashita dakishime ni yukou. Zenbu kanaeyou"
(I definitely want to capture new dreams even more than I do now. If I boldly jump out, my life will be O.K. My hopes are huge. Growing high and far. Let's go embrace a dazzling tomorrow. Let's make all of our dreams come true.)

At the end of the live performance, everyone's watching clapped with much fervor. Seeing this the somewhat tired group recovered their lost energy and bowed, concluding the live event. Still, their middle school student fans clearly want to get some autographs and take some pictures with them.
Hiroto performed in the same stage full of pinkish pink without any embarrassment whatsoever. It was a little outlandish seeing him wearing an American suit with a prepared styled hair as he played on the grand piano with a girlish stage. While not everyone, they heard a new composition, it was the piano version of the songs the girls did. He played Start Dash, Kore Kara Someday, Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE, and Aishiteru Banzai as the finale before advertising the school with a motivational speech before leaving the stage.
Afterward, the middle school students, some accompanied by their parents began touring the school with a good hint of curiosity. They even wanted him or the school idol girls to be the representatives and introduced them to the amenities at the school which was what they did in the first but after trying it for the first time had turned down the following ones. Feeling a little tired, everyone that helped out for the open house felt tired but in the end, the results were worthwhile.
Now it was the next day, Hiroto saw the open house survey results and happily nodded while showing it towards the others, it was a survey material. "It seems like the open house was a success!" It seems some students had fun and excitement during their visitation, they even talked about it online while others had to take pictures and upload it. His popularity took some of the attention of public online netizens, before they learned about his streams and lastly the school idol group U's. The majority of the middle schoolers had found the school agreeable which were listed in the survey results while only the parents felt that some parts of the school were lacking. The number of students that had checked the question 'Enrolling to the Otonokizaka Academy' were plentiful. It made Eli really excited that she even happily applied to extend the area of their school idol club room because it was too small.
"It couldn't get any better!" Honoka smiled towards Umi and Kotori with a pumped-up fist. Kotori and Umi nodded happily.
The pumped-up Hanayo said, "Yes! Kirisu-sensei said. The decision to close down the school was postponed and won't be a problem for the coming future, unless there weren't any students enrolling."
Kotori asked happily with sparkles on her eyes, "There should be many students that were interested right?"
Hiroto replied calmly, "Yes, we could estimate but it won't be less than two digits." He took off from his seat and started to prepare some tea.
"Wooow! This is really great!" Honoka paced around while being smug, she also introduced to the girls about the new extension of their club room. Bickering with the girls while they lounge around with the spacier place they had.
Still, they would have to maintain interest for the middle schoolers so that they applied to the school. It was an easy thing to do as they only needed to perform, live concerts or any that could satisfy the eager hearts of the majority of the teenage girls. Eli told them about that and although Honoka was playful, she still understood what she meant. Umi on the other hand, was really grateful at the school-council president's addition to the group, like-minded as they were, were very responsible. She could talk out her frustrations about the girl's laziness and that earned some leering from the others.
"You make it sound like we don't have any common sense." Rin stared at Umi, Umi only rubbed her cheeks while feeling the stare of the cat-like girl.
"Well.. Why don't we start today practice?" Nozomi said as she entered the room. Everyone nodded before they move towards the changing room and headed at the rooftop to practice, even though, they could practice now since they had a free large room to use, it was much freer to practice in the rooftop.
During the month, Hiroto already gained Brewing (Intermediate). While earlier, he also brought some kind of supplies for preparing it, earning glad looks from the girls.
"Why don't you girls try my latest drink!" Hiroto grinned before introducing his new drink material.
