Capítulo 195: The Reason
There were so many things Lyndon wanted to say that he couldn't even dare to open his mouth. His room was filled with Simione's cries and regrets, yet there was nothing he could do to appease her.
For years, he had resented Simione for rejecting his marriage proposal, thinking she doesn't love him enough. For years, he had always taken it as a childish nagging when she constantly told him about Feather's schemes and doings. He never believed her, no until now.
After all these times of self-righteous anger believing he was the wronged one when in fact Simione was the real victim, Lyndon was faced with the fact that all this he had brought upon himself and that he had to face it. It was just such a pity that he only realized it now, after Simione suffered unimaginable horrors on her own.

Zijay If you had read my other novel the TGFL, you sure are very aware that I am the kind of author who loves to drop clues/easter eggs. Reading through the comments, I knew no one realized of Simione's leg injury. So here's the clues I left that you might have taken lightly.
1. When Simione and Hawk danced at the engagement party, Simione tripped.
2. When Simione danced at the fountain, she fell at the end.
3. When Lucy made her dance in front of the clients, she cut the music short. That was intentional on her part, she knew Simione's legs weren't strong enough to do a long routine.
For anyone who knows ballet, unlike other type of dance, this requires strong legs which Simione's current legs cannot anymore endure. She can still dance though, but only for limited minutes.
