Capítulo 61: Chapter 60 - Take care

Peace never lasted forever as minor fights with clans in one's own land turned into massive wars with other villages. Even the village shrouded in ice couldn't evade the first great shinobi war.

It's already been six years since Ernie met with Hashirama. The talk went fairly well as the two village kages shared their thoughts about the future. Having similar ideas, the two became friends and with their friendship brought about an alliance.

Was it a good idea, at the time yes but in hindsight no. With the hidden leaf and village shrouded in ice allied, it caused the other villages to start an all out war against them.

Ernie was forced to attack and protect what he built.

Although his village led a peaceful life for the most part, at the end of the day they were still shinobi. The village shrouded in ice was the first village created, and during this war they showed to be more powerful than some of the other villages.

This branded them as the six great shinobi village, and with it were men who claimed to be the daimyo of the land Ernie built his village on. However, none of them were allowed to return after they tried to force their rulership on the village.

At this point, the village didn't care for the status of daimyo, considering they were already fending off all the other shinobi. Causing harm to a daimyo only helped establish their power.

Ernie sat at his desk reading and signing documents while also agreeing to some missions.

He still had a notice from Hashirama stating his intentions to broker peace between the other four major shinobi villages. It was his hope to bring an end to all this fighting and create peace.

There were still two weeks left before they were supposed to meet, and during this time Ernie wasn't wasting any time.

"Finally!"

Ernie said as he stretched his body.

All the important documents were signed and approved, so he could take a small rest.

Getting up, he glanced out the window and saw his son Urek walking the streets with his sisters. Urek kept his hair short while it was parted to the side.

Ernie found it a bit odd, none of his five kids were born with a Reitgan, and so far none have awakened it. He wasn't even sure how a person would be able to awaken the Reitgan, considering he's had it since he came to this world.

Was it just the percentage of being inherited was low? Or, it could be another reason.

As Ernie watched three of his kids hang out together, he noticed a shadow moving in the distance.

Ernie was a bit worried and his figure vanished.

While he had his own business to attend to, his kids took priority over everything.

Ernie appeared on a tree, and grabbed the person following his kids arm. When he grabbed the person's arm, he noticed the child.

It was a young girl, no more than thirteen or fourteen years of age. She had beautiful long curly white hair and blue eyes.

The young girl was shocked by Ernie's sudden appearance.

"What are you doing!? Let go of me!"

The young girl shouted.

"What are you doing following my children? You some sort of stalker?"

"Stalker!? Wha!?"

The young girl blushed and tried to remove Ernie's hand, but it didn't budge. Ernie eventually let go of her arm.

Ernie smirked.

"So, you like my son huh. A bit old, but why don't you just go tell him your feelings?"

Ernie told her as he kneeled down so he could look her in the eye.

The young girl looked down to avoid his gaze and shook her head.

Ernie rubbed her hair.

His eyebrows furrowed for just a moment, but soon he said what was on his mind.

"Relax, just be honest. He might look like that, but behind that cool demeanor of his he's pretty easy going. Although, you should wait a few years, he really is too young."

Ernie told her with a slight laugh.

The young girl rolled her eyes, but she couldn't face Ernie.

Her body slightly trembled as she stood in front of him.

Seeing this, Ernie sighed as he vanished from sight.

Feeling his presence now gone, the young girl fell on her butt as she let out a sigh of relief.

"I can't believe I got to meet the first Kōrikage, just standing before him had me shook."

The young girl looked towards the tower where the Kōrikage worked.

"I can do this!"

She told herself as she turned her head looking for Urek and his sisters. However, they were gone.

"Oh no! Where'd they go?"

As the young girl was looking for Urek and his sisters, Ernie stayed hidden in the shadows. This young girl felt familiar but he knew she wasn't a villager. At least, he couldn't remember seeing her before.

He was still worried and his stomach was telling him danger was close.

While following the young girl, Ernie noticed that she always stayed hidden away from everyone in the village. She never approached Urek, only observing him from afar.

Ernie was confused about her behavior, and continued to watch her.

Warning signs were going off in his head, and his stomach was telling him something.

He spent the entire week observing this young girl. His work for the village never stopped so he wasn't able to keep tabs on her all the time, but when he did, she only did one thing. Observe.

Ernie was starting to feel that his senses were off.

Urek and his sisters were training in the forest. It was a free for all battle where each one of them used their skills to fend off the others.

Ernie encouraged this type of training, and seeing the young girl interested in his kids training Ernie could only shake his head.

'What am I thinking…'

Ernie asked himself.

This girl wasn't some spy or assassin, far from it.

A pale skinned man with short spiky bluish hair along with a horn above his head floated down from the sky. On his shoulder was another pale skinned man with long pale-blue hair that was together in a ponytail. On top of his head was a pair of curved flat horns.

Urek, Vi and Sumire distanced themselves away from these two strange men. Urek placed both his sisters behind him.

"So, this is where it all began."

The young man with long pale-blue hair said.

Looking at the three young kids he motioned with his finger signalling them to come.

Urek felt his body start to move but before he could he was swept off his feet.

"Dad?"

Urek was surprised by his father's sudden appearance.

Ernie picked up his three children and took them away from the two pale skinned men. He set them down on the ground as he rubbed Urek's head.

"Go back home, be sure to protect your sisters."

Ernie told Urek.

Urek nodded his head.

He turned his attention to the two men. Their skin was similar to that of Kaguya's, and the way they dressed also reminded him of her.

"You two are from the Otsutsuki clan?"

Ernie asked.

The young man with long hair tilted his head.

"This vulgar creature has a bit of intelligence, not everyone knows who we are."

The young man said as he floated down from the larger man's shoulder.

"Get rid of him."

He told the larger man.

The larger man rushed straight towards Ernie as he created a dent in the ground as his feet pushed off it. A large red axe was in his hand as he slashed down towards Ernie.

Ernie jumped back and witnessed the destructive power the man held.

"Watatsumi!"

Ernie's entire body was covered in a pastel blue chakra shroud. Even his eyes transformed into his Reitgan.

Both Otsutsuki men were shocked for a moment, not by Ernie's transformation but the eyes.

The young man with long pale hair laughed as he held his stomach.

"I was mistaken, you aren't a vulgar creature an unrefined being that doesn't know its place."

Ernie's body appeared in front of the larger man as his palm hit the mans stomach launching him back. As the man's body rolled on the ground, dents were made in the ground.

The long haired man that was on the side held his hand up as six giants balls with various natures rotated around on large pitch black ball.

Ernie knew that he couldn't allow the man to launch his attack here, although they were a distance away from the village, it could still cause serious damage.

"Let's change scenery…"

Ernie said as the four lingling-o around his collar glowed and all three of them were transported to another dimension.

The entire realm was cold and full of snow.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

A small portion of the sky cracked as a black space appeared. A vicious roar of a dragon emerged.

The long haired man launched his attack, while the dragon unleashed a stream of water.

The two attacks caused a large explosion.

The large man began to attack Ernie once more, while the long haired man faced off against the dragon.

After a series of exchanges, Ernie knocked the large man away with a swift kick and looked off in the distance.

"You plan on standing there the whole time, or helping?"

He asked.

A figure wearing black appeared next to him. His bang covered his left eye, while his right eye had the Sharingan activated.

Ever since the two Otsutsuki clansmen arrived, he sensed this man. He knew who he was, but instead of the younger version it was his adult form.

Ernie just didn't want to say his name, as he had no clue how he was alive in this period. It was years before he was even born.

The man in black looked at the large pale man.

"I'll take care of him, you handle the other one."

Ernie nodded as it would ease his burden.

With help, Ernie started fighting the long haired young man. Exchanging blows with each other, while pushing and being pushed back.

Ernie's chakra was being drained, and eventually the dragon was unsummoned.

The long haired man's hair was all messed up now, he couldn't believe he was being pushed back by a lower being. It was shameful!

Ernie's body ached as he felt a great pain in his chest.

'No!'

Ernie said to himself.

He started to cough as he held his chest in pain. The long haired man noticed this and took his chance as he stabbed Ernie with his hand.

Ernie's eyes widened.

The dimension they were in faded as they were returned to earth.

"Dad!"

Urek shouted as he saw Ernie being pierced by the long haired mans hand.

Ernie turned and noticed his foolish son who he told to escape.

"Urek, take care of our family."

Ernie said as he roared out loud.

He held onto the long haired man's hand, and with his left hand slowly made hand signs.

His entire body glowed bright blue.

"Eternal sleep!"

Ernie roared as his body started to freeze, and with him so did the long haired man.

"No! No!!"

The long haired man shouted as he tried to remove his arm but found it stuck. Before he had time to chop his arm off, his entire body was frozen in ice.

The man in black saw the sight and looked down at the ground.

He just finished his fight with the large pale man, but he had hoped things wouldn't have ended like this.

Urek and his siblings ran over to the frozen Ernie.

"Dad! Dad!!"

They shouted as they tapped on the ice. But, no matter what they did, Ernie didn't respond.

As tears streamed down their cheeks and they cried out, the man in black was approached by a young girl with long snow white hair.

"He wasn't supposed to die!"

She shouted, but softly.

"What are we going to do Sasuke!?!"

She shouted as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Sasuke looked at Ernie's frozen self and knew everything would be different. He was chasing after Momoshiki and Kinshiki, but was caught up in some time warp which brought him here to this time. Along with him he brought his pupil and niece.

Sasuke couldn't respond to her, no matter how much she called out his name.

"Gin! Open up, you have a job now!"

A voice shouted from the door as the person continued to bang loudly on it.

Inside the room, a man with short silver hair was sleeping. The room was small, with only a single bed, bathroom and kitchen. There was no living room or dining room, his bedroom and kitchen were basically connected.

All around the room was scrolls, and books.

Hearing the constant banging and irritating voice, the man was forced to wake up.

"Stop yelling! I'm awake."

He responded back towards the voice as he grabbed his head with his left hand. His head was throbbing.

'Never drinking that crap again.'

Gin said to himself as he glared at the soju bottle on the floor by his feet.

It's not what you are thinking at all...

Interesting theories though...
