Capítulo 54: Chapter 53 - Theories and thoughts
Even after a week had passed, Ernie still could not stop thinking about the two pieces of paper he recovered from the Otsutsuki clan ruins. It was driving him insane.
So much so that it kept him up for many nights, having both Hina and Himari worry about him.
Ernie just couldn't figure it out, what was his connection to the Otsutsuki clan?
It was already deep into the night as Ernie laid on his rooftop, one of his favorite places to relax. He stayed looking up at the starry night and moon as questions filled his head.
Page one he recovered, he knew that they all had to come from Kaguya and her clan. While he still wasn't sure about two dojutsu on there, after thinking about it for some time he knew their clan was responsible for the creation of those dojutsu.
However, the second page was a complete mystery to him. The language on the paper was forgien, clearly beyond his time. Yet, what confused him even more was the shrouded figure with question marks around it.
This got him thinking that even the Otsutsuki clan didn't know who the original owner of these eyes were. If that was the case, didn't that mean his eyes did not come from that clan?
It got him thinking, there may have been more to the era long ago than he knew, or anyone knew about. Before the Otsutsuki clan came here, where did they come from? Were they the only clan out there?
Obviously not.
While he felt the paper caused him to have many questions, he also knew it gave him answers. Evidently there were three forms to his eye. Two he already knew, while the third one has yet to be achieved.
The second form has some connection to the overlapping flower dojutsu of the Otsutsuki clan. Or at least Ernie assumed due to the two of them being next to each other.
He had a few thoughts on this, but the more he thought, the more confused he became. Thus he left it alone for now and focused more so on the third eye transformation.
If that was his eye's final form, what sort of powers did it hold?
Ernie felt that the strange words written next to the pictures told him the eyes powers, but since he couldn't read it he had no clue as to what the powers were.
'Reitgan… increases users attributes, gives user complete mastery over various chakra natures, making it seem like the user themselves are full of that element. User can use some jutsu without making hand signs, and lastly users seem to be immune to genjutsu. This is what I have gathered so far about the Reitgan, but that was only the first form.
From the wording written on the picture there are six attributes that the base form gives the user, but i've only uncovered what seem to be five. So i'm missing one.
The second form has three words written by it, meaning there are three new attributes unlocked from obtaining this form. Watatsumi seems to be one, but I still need to see what that is. As for the other two, I am at a complete loss.
The last form, seems to have only two words next to it meaning I can expect two new attributes to unlock then. Still, it is confusing.'
Ernie thought to himself as he sighed.
'This world always seems to have some sort of conflict going on. If there are clans that hate each other such as the Uchiha and Senju, then what about the Otsutsuki…? Was there ever a clan that wanted them dead?'
Ernie asked himself as he closed his eyes.
He scratched his head and sighed once more.
"I told Hina and Himari a lie a long time ago about my clan and father, but what if it isn't a real lie? I mean, clan wise sure, but father wise not really. It's been years, but he could still be alive. Maybe he has the same eyes as me, but guess i'll never know."
Ernie laughed a little to himself.
"I need to stop, really… i'll drive myself insane if I keep thinking about it."
Ernie told himself as he slapped his cheeks.
After a week of being lost in his thoughts, it was time for him to move forward. In time he may learn about his eyes, or he may not. There was no use in him thinking about what may or may not be true.
Ernie's body flashed as he vanished from the rooftop.
The girls were sleeping at this time and most of the villagers were in bed right now. Ernie traveled until he reached the ruins again, this time with no one around him.
There was only one reason he showed up here again, and it wasn't to see if he could find any more clues. Instead, he wanted to see something else.
After all this time he never knew what his new ability did. He never needed to use it. But, it was better to know what it did than not knowing at all.
Ernie's eyes transformed as he activated his Reitgan.
"Watatsumi!"
Enire's entire body was covered in a pastel blue chakra shroud. Two large ethereal dragon wings spread out from his back while four lingling-o were marked around his collar. Emerging from his tailbone was a long thick scaly tail.
Ernie's entire body was bursting with chakra.
Under his feet, the entire ground started to freeze. Floating around him, little rain droplets danced as if they were alive and attracted to Ernie.
In his mind, three new techniques appeared. It was as if he already knew them.
Ernie made a few hand signs, before he slammed his palms together as if he were praying. The four lingling-o around his collar brightened.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
A small portion of the sky seemed to crack as a black space appeared.
With a swoosh, a large blue dragon appeared.
