Right after Shin joined the fight, the tide of the battle immediately turned in their favor. They still had the advantage earlier but each member of the group was slowly getting exhausted.
But the moment Shin, who freshly joined the battle, quickly changed the state of the battlefield. And since he was currently using his other style of swordsmanship, which focused on fast and AOE (Area of Effect) attacks, he was able to take down most of the fallen knights on his path.
He practically cleared the path ahead of the group while Arthur and Leonard picked up the scraps that he left behind.
Everything was smoothly going according to the plan but the surrounding atmosphere was quite heavy.
Shin and the others knew it which was why they were warily advancing forward, especially when they couldn't see any signs of the opposing commander no matter how far they advanced.
