if you're hesitating to read this, don't! You should never hesitate! I admit at first I was skeptical, I tried to guess what will be the plot in the first chapters but I didn't guess what will it be! mostly the stories are likely you can guess what will be the plot of the story from the first chapters but here it's not! I like how the author put so many details in the characteristics of the characters, I also like how the story develops it gets you to read more and what will happen next! Ughhhh!! I'm writing this review just after I completed reading the book. I have a bittersweet feeling about the story and the characters I've come across the whole story Jinhai is too cruel and Nana is too kind, it is like they are two ends of a spectrum. I still feel awed by the author's capability to bring two people with such huge difference in worldview together. I will not lie by saying that I liked Jinhai's obsession and Nana's blindness towards her admirers for sometime, but in the end I realised that is how people are truly in real life- 'Imperfect'. Almost every character in the story had an ugly side. Everyone was ruthless in their own ways but by the end of the day all had their own happy ending. I love how you portrayed the no matter how huge your mistake is (expect for Jinhai) you will always have a better life as long as you genuinely understand your wrongdoing and learn to let go. I love you for wonderfully weaving such a nice story with all these grey characters. I also love how brave you were in showing how not only saints but even devils are capable of love. I hate you just as much for all the times I gave out a frustrated cry reading about all the scheming. Everything apart thank you for letting me read about the love story of a villain, of a devil who only had his love as his bottom line. But I still hate you for making me question my morality so many times while reading this book. I just hate for making me like something which was against my morals. I just hate you, dear author!!!!!😤😡
Very interesting story. Nevertheless, the quality of the text (grammar) could be improved and there were some inconsistencies that bothered me regarding the intimacy after childbirth among other things or the fact that there were supposedly cameras in the restroom when the FL was attacked. Despite that there were many touching moments and I enjoyed the story so much that I read everything in two days. Thank you author-nim

This novel is one of the best I’ve read. It’s fulfilling that it brought different emotions. I can relate to it more than other novels. It made me sad, happy, excited, emotional, etc. The author is very talented in writing such a wonderful novel. The story flowed and the twist and turns got the best of me. I’m happy to recommend this novel to anyone.
this is the second book of this writer that I pick from just reading the title. this writer really good at building the characters backwards. the story always started from the middle than slowly each characters emerged. quite intriguing and sometimes frustrating to me because too much mystery and secret before it boom and you felt all your deduction wrong🤭 don't know is it me or anyone same? Still not read tho? just the synopsis but I can feel my frustration.
Ahhh! The author did an amazing job! Make sure to check out the sequel ' because I cannot Hurt you'.... you wouldn't wanna miss it!
The writing style is impressive. I can't stop reading. Every chapter is interesting and it does not leave you bored from reading. It is well written. Kudos to the author. 🥳
I have only reached in the chapter 60s and although it is a not bad story I can’t get over the male lead being married. It really doesn’t matter the circumstances unless he was blackmailed to marry. But this far it doesn’t seem that way cus no one will be nice to a blackmailer. I’m sure the author will turn things around and make the wife seem vile and the FL extra angelic cus she is angelic but in the future author it would be nice to not make the male lead married. It’s hard to get over the bias of seeing someone getting between a marriage however unhappy it may be. If was engaged it would’ve been ok. But married ugh. I’ll continue on and hope he divorces before starting any relationship.
The story is not bad at all... the characters of all the main lead is quit interesting and i like how this novel from the beginning to the end... i really like the story of the FL about her life and it keep on getting interesting

I loved this novel from beginning to end. LOL To be honest I know that a lot of readers probably think that the ML is questionable however, I supported him 100% and I have my own reasonings why i support him so much. The ML and FL really balance each other out and the storyline is really exciting. I found myself really holding my breath at times during certain scenes and giddy during the love scenes. Although this is one of those CEO stories, it actually quite different. It's got really different elements and not repetitive to what's out there. It's kind of refreshing. Anyway, support this author. Her writing is great. :)

I have just one question :: how come in every novel people get aphrodisiacs to sleep with each other??? I mean from where do they get that, is it that common to easily acquire such drugs.. and aren't there any health implications, why none is afraid of taking such drugs.... 🤔
I pick up this book from the daily recommendation and I am hooked. The interesting part about the novel is the scheming ML. I see lots of scheming ML who is trying to win FL, but this ML ways is so twisted. But somehow it is interesting. I usually read stories on how at some point if there is issues between FL and ML, usually FL keep her distance or run away and comeback after sometime. But in this story, ML take a decision that make you hate him, but at the same time is the right decision.
Giving this novel a 5 star rating bcoz it's just a***essomeee. I am so in love with novel. This is now one of my most favorite novel on webnovel. Love NANA ❤JINHAI
When you read this story, remember that it’s a fantasy world. Nothing mentioned in the story could happen in reality, And that's what makes the story interesting. It shows how kindness wins against evil, how powerful real love is in life, and family bonding. Of course, there are ups and downs to build up the feelings and bonding of love and family relationships, but it has its own interpretations which show different views in the world. I loved reading this novel.
Overall the story development is good, although there are some minor edits to be done. The story is good but some scenarios are unrealistic just so to make a story.
Though, the novel's first impression centralise in the romance genre. The truth is that the story represents a modern fairy tale of human flaws. Looking from the lenses of a passive character, we'll see deep inside their heart and desire are fighting against their moral and rationality, which makes me stand in a grey area as the story progresses. I admired how the story bravely digs into the depth of human nature shows how there's no purely good or bad of human qualities without any reason. The narrator made one realise how flaw played with the characters decisions in which the author has executed it in a charmingly twisted way with a dramatic frame. There might be some disturbing parts. But I think it is one the gripping part that makes the story ironically beautiful and dark at the same time. I wonder what will happen to them at the end... 🤔
