Clara looked surprised, after the announcement. "is it your own CEO Raymond he's talking about?" she asked, her confused expression pulling Leo in more and more. 

With such a look, someone might actually find her to be innocent. She looks like a seductress, but has beautiful eyes that will make you unable to see it in the wrong light. 

Leo nodded his head, while everyone is still clapping their hands and awaiting them to stand up. Leo was ready for the embarrassment, which he wouldn't really mind much. 

The only thing that will hurt, is the fact that Clara rejected to dance with him, not the gossip that will follow. 

If not for his uncle that has made him announce that he's ready to show his face now, he's not interested in all these social gatherings. 

He knew he needed to attend them to give Jerry some shock, because he would have made some plans. Perhaps claim that he didn't come, because he has a problem with noise and make the internet question him.
