Eli frowns at the man. He doesn't care who lives or dies in the fae realm. 

"I am an envoy," He replies casually. "Take me to Nell Solomon."

"Do you really think that I will take you to her?" Eli takes a step toward the man. "Maybe I should kill you."

The man sighs, unaffected by Eli's threat. "I am just an envoy. A human. Does it matter whether I live or not? But I do have something to say to you. If you let me meet Nell Solomon, I will reveal how to remove the last of the magic from her mind."

It's a trap. Eli lets out a laugh as his shadow trails toward the man. "I will find out how to break the curse on my own."

"You couldn't break it till now." The man looks down at the floor. "I already told you. It's pointless to kill me. They don't care about my life. I am not even a pawn."

"I don't believe your words." Eli grabs the man's neck. "Reveal everything that you know about the seal."
