The next five days went by quickly as Rory attended classes and worked on her computer.
Between catching up on work and negotiating with teachers about grades, she barely had time to build her computer. Therefore, Knox's request was put off as well.
Thankfully, she rarely saw him in the past five days and didn't have to explain anything.
Looking at the door in front of her Rory sighed in regret.
It seemed after she bullied the entire class not a single student was willing to talk to her about the economic class project.
While they were only one and a half months in on classes, she didn't think she would be able to tank a project this big without failing.
She really didn't want to have to make up more classes.
Rory walked into the rowdy class and sat down in the same seat she sat last time. The silvered haired boy was right beside her with an annoyed expression.
"There are so many other seats in this room why do you insist on sitting here?" He glared at her from his own seat.
At the moment, he gave her the impression of a cat with their hair standing up.
Rory didn't even bother to look at him as she pulled out her notebook.
Over the week he had forgotten how hard communication was with this perverted guy.
"Just admit you have a weird obsession with me and think that as long as you hang around me I'll eventually like you. I can tell you right now I'm not interested. So fuck off."
Rory stopped reading the notes in her notebook and closed it. She had a feeling this was going to be a repeated occurrence every time she comes to class, so she might as well save herself future pain.
Looking at the silver headed kid, her eyebrow raised up.
"Tell me kiddo." Her eyes looked his frame up and down.
"What exactly is there to like?" Her expression showed sincere confusion.
Andrew coughed down the words he was going to say. When he looked at him he thought he was going to finally admit it!
What's to like!? What's not to like!!?
"You don't have to act like you are disgusted with me to throw me off. It's impossible to say I'm not good looking." Andrew stated in confidence. For extra affect he brushed his silver hair back letting it fall back in place perfectly.
Some of the girls in the class couldn't stop their eyes from traveling to him in fascination.
"Ok... I'm better looking, why would I settle for inferior quality? Next." Rory dismissed his entire show like it was nothing!
Andrew felt stifled. Inferior quality? How about he just ends this scrawny pervert's life right here!
Andrew opened his mouth to continue his argument, but before he could a loud bang echoed in the classroom. In front of the students the professor had slammed his book down on the desk.
"Ok no playing around, we have 15 projects to get through and only 2 and a half hours. Let's get started right away. As you all know you only have 10 minutes per presentation and 2 minutes for questions. With that said let's get started!"
"Let's see who is going to go first?" The professor asked the classroom.
Everyone knew the professor was a harsh grader, so when the question was asked the entire room went quiet.
In the middle of the large room, Rory slightly slid down the desk.
She'll just pretend she doesn't exist...
"If that's the case I'll just pick." The professor pulled out the class roster and randomly picked a name.
"Rory? Your group is up!"
The person nearly hiding beneath her desk, "-_-".
Rory pulled herself up like nothing happened. "I'm sorry Professor Jia, but I'm currently suffering from terrible asthma. Is it ok if I go a little bit later." To increase the affects, her breathing the entire statement was heavy.
Her lie was executed perfectly, yet the students in the class started to snicker.
Lily rolled her eyes in the background, she didn't understand how the Hynes family produced such a bumbling idiot. Without a doubt Olivia must of cheated, there was just no way!
Who didn't know that Rory had been asking around about the project.
The idiot didn't even know what it was!
Seeing who the name belonged to, the professor didn't bother to argue and just picked the next student.
The time went by quickly and the project followed each other in quick succession. After around 5 projects, Rory already got the gist of it.
Unfortunately, with the multitude of differently delivered projects, she wasn't sure what she needed to do for a full grade.
"Next up I have a Tiffany Lopez?" The professor said looking around the classroom.
Rory was surprised. She didn't even know that girl was in this class too.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone in the class the girl walked up with her 2 meter black hair and long sleeve dress that covered her body. Her head was down the entire time.
She got to the podium.
"I- my p-projec-"
"R*tard." A whisper was heard all across the quiet room.
Tiffany stumbled over her words, her hands started to shake.
She tried to start again, "M-my p-project I-is a-bo-"
"Literally I don't get why she hasn't killed herself yet, didn't we reach 2000 supports of facenote?" A different voice scoffed, but among the multiple students in the classroom only the people around the voice knew who it was.
"I know right! Why hasn't she just gone and died yet. I heard her own family barely wants her."
"Why would they? The girl is a freak!"
The whispers started to get bolder and bolder.
"Wherever a voice comes next, five people in that area will get a 0 on the project, you understand?" The professor said in annoyance cutting off the agitators.
"Continue Tiffany."
However, Tiffany wasn't saying anything she was violently shaking upfront, she didn't seem able to speak anymore.
Roughly grabbing her papers she tried to walk off stage only to stumble over her long dress.
She fell face first to the ground.
