Capítulo 88: Generational Trauma

"Abuelo, is someone moving in?" Azaan asks Edy in the kitchen.

There are bags of all shapes and sizes near the house entrance when Edy looks at Azaan, "yes, your mom's boyfriend."

"boyfriend?" Azaan mutters. He's never heard anything about his mom having a boyfriend all of a sudden. But that only made him curious to find out who this man is since they will all be living underneath the same roof.

Azaan knew very well he didn't feel comfortable at all welcoming a stranger into the house. But as he took a few glances at Abuelo, he could tell by his facial expressions that he wasn't happy either.

"Abuelo, why doesn't tia Belen live with us?"

Edy nearly spit out his drink, "H-Huh? You know that Belen used to live here?"
