Not so long ago General Eisenhower finished a meeting with the top commanding officers and returned to his tent.
At the moment he was reading a paper that was left on his desk, he stood there reading it carefully and again rereading it to make sure he didn't read it wrong.
What was on the piece of paper was:
(Dear Old Man...
Your moving too slow for my taste, so I took it upon myself to move forward, I know you won't be happy about it so I will ease your frustration by giving you the next chess piece... Fort Nantes.)
After confirming he read it right and who it was that wrote it the General rushed out of his office before grabbing a foot soldier.
"Take me to Captain McBride's tent, immediately soldier!!" General Eisenhower said as he and the soldier got on a military car and sped through the camps.
Reaching their destination the general ran to the big tent while calling Alfred.
He knew there was a slim chance of him actually being there and not departing yet but he still called.
"Damn it, that idiot!" Eisenhower cursed.
"Sir!!" A soldier ran up to the tent saluting.
"What?"
"It's Captain McBride and another soldier, he took one of the transportations and sped out." The soldier said.
"Ah." Eisenhower scoffed.
"Sir, his company is still in the camp..." the soldier said.
"What?! Is he crazy?!" Eisenhower didn't know what to think.
Eisenhower looked down in thought for a bit before looking back at the soldier.
"Gather the Commanders."

A few miles away from the Fort there was a military car speeding off.
On the driver seat was Alfie and growling on the passenger seat was James.
The previous day they drank until going to sleep, and as time passed on James still slept, Alfie kidnapped him and when James woke up he saw Alfie and the mother wolf in the back of the car.
This was the day the name [Deathstroke] became known to many.
As the front pages of the Stars and Stripes told the story of Alfred McBride.
It was front page.
Alfie has been hearing about Steve on the papers too much, he hoped Steve would hear about him the same way.
"Where are you taking me?" James crossed his arms on the front seat.
"To Fort Nantes."
"What?! Why are we going there?!"
"To liberate it, do some killings, have a nice barbecue then head out to the Italian front." Alfie said as he let his hair and left hand flow in the wind with one hand on the wheel.
"Are you crazy?! Or just Stupid?!"
"I would prefer crazy over stupid."
"What is this? An early infiltration? Is it an order from the higher ups?" James seeked to find out a reasonable reason why this is happening.
"No, the main force is just moving too slow for me, so I thought about going in early, and brought you along."
"If you wanted to die you can do it alone!" James growled out.
"Hah, as if dying is in your dictionary."
"What's that supposed to mean?" James asked as the air silenced.
"I'm sure there is a reason you're called Lucky James, right?" Alfie asked still looking at the road.
"Just say what you wanna say McBride."
"I know you are a mutant, but I don't care really, I just think you could be helpful in killing our way through the Fort." Alfie said.
There was a long moment of silence, no smiles, no words and no clear expressions.
James suddenly jerked his hands pointing his knuckles at Alfie's neck, Alfie heard the movements of bones before...the famous claws of Wolverine spiked out of James knuckles.
Only this time Alfie didn't hear no SNIKT, the claws were all bones and No Adamantium.
Though the claws were poking Alfie's neck he was still driving like there is no claws on his neck.
A smile slowly crept up on Alfie's face.
A muffled growl behind the seats were heard by the two.
The claws were suddenly pulled back and disappeared, James crossed his arms looking out the car as Alfie still smiled.
"It's still a stupid plan, how do you expect the two of us to take care of Nantes full of Nazi bastards."
"I heard this Fort is smaller than Rennes, so it should be a quick work." Alfie said.
"It's small but it's packed." James grunted in frustration.
"It's gonna be fine, plus it's not just the two of us."
James raised an eyebrow in question wondering who else is on their little team, when it suddenly twitched.
James looked back to see the calmly sitting Luna in the back.
"Yep, Luna is gonna fight with us too." Alfie said smilingly.
"Where is the Cub?"
"I left him to the old man in his tent, so it's just us three." James said.
James sigh before muttering.
"It's probably better to commit suicide right now." James picked his legs up and made himself comfortable going to sleep.
Fort Nantes was a bit far away so it will take a while.

Sitting down in front of a mirror is two show girls wearing a uniform themed red, white, and blue with stars like the American flag.
On their hands were a piece of newspaper with an interesting piece with a picture of a man and a wolf besides him.
"It looks like Mr.Rogers might have a rival now."
"I don't know, Mr.Rogers may be popular and all as Captain America...but this man is actually in the war."
"A sword? Who takes a sword to a gunfight?"
"Forget the sword, look, it's a wolf, it said that by his side is a wolf ready to go into battle with him."
"Captain Alfred McBride." The name was muttered quietly trying to say it right.
But it was heard easily by a man about to pass the two, the man froze and slowly turned to look between the two girls looking at the newspaper.
"Oh Mr.Rogers, I didn't know you were here, do you nee-" One of the show girls startles by Steve's sudden appearance and spoke but Steve cut her off.
"Can I borrow that?" Steve asked.
"S-sure."
As Steve took the newspaper he rushed out of the building they were in before posting himself on a small step and looked at the front picture.
There he was, Alfie, Alfred McBride.
And next to him was Luna.
Steve looked bigger than the Steve in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He still looked like Chris Evans, yet he had a more broad shoulder and bigger chest along with arms and legs.
Steve plopped himself on the steps and grabbed his mouth with his right looking at the picture with disbelieve.
Alfie is growing a beard.
Steve couldn't help it as his eyes redden, looking at this picture reminded him of their times together.
It also reminded him about where he is, if it weren't for Alfie he wouldn't have the advantages he have today.
That day where Alfie gave him the Serum without a second thought never left his mind, and he was greatly thankful for it.
Yet he can't also help but hate it as well, he was the one that got the Serum but he was over here playing mascot and bringing American morals up while the man who gave him the Serum was in the frontlines for almost a year now.
It felt like just a short time ago but it's actually been long.
Steve took a deep breath before migrating to the story, he was to read what Alfie had done to get in the papers.
Reading through it gave Steve many emotions from awe, shock, disbelief and such.
In just that short amount of time Alfie achieved so much, and was now an officer, a Captain.
A real Captain unlike him, he thought.
Now Steve was all smiles, proud of Alfie, the kid who loves to fight and makes trouble.
"Steve?!"
He looked up to see the Senator as he opened the door, apparently looking for him.
"Sir-"
"Come on the show is starting, we were looking for you, what are you doing out here?" The senator asked.
"Oh I'm sorry, I'll be on stage now." Steve rushed in to hop on stage but paused, clenching the newspaper in his hand he looked to the senator.
"Sir, you said we're heading to Europe soon? Where exactly?" Steve asked.
"Uh? Why?" The senator asked.
But Steve didn't answer he just stood there waiting for the answer.
"To Glockner base in the Italian front...why do you ask?"
"...do we have any plans to head to the German front?" Steve asked.
"German front? Why on earth do you wanna go there? The battles there are too chaotic."
"...I have a friend there...I was hoping to see him." Steve said as he looked down.
Steve has always been doing the Senators request and never really asked for much, but seeing that he could do something for him he might as well do him a favor.
"We'll head there." The Senator said to which Steve looked up surprised.
"But we're going to Italy first before going there." The Senator said with a smile.
"Thank you, sir." Steve nodded gratefully.
"Now get on outta here, the crowds waiting for ya." The Senator shooed him as Steve smiled and nodded before rushing off.

It's been about a few days when Alfie woke up on the passenger seat from the sound of James closing his driver door.
"We there yet?" Alfie asked getting up.
"This is our last can of gas." James said as he took out a large can filling up the car with gas.
"Then that means we're almost there."
"How can you be sure?"
"Because I measured our distance to Nantes and the amount of gas it would take us, 3 cans before we are at least...20 miles out from there."
Alfie said as he looked to the side, James got back in the driver seat and started driving again.
"Did you hear what I said?"
"Yes, we're close."
"Hahaha good enough."
•••••••
About an hour or two and they finally saw lights far away.
They left the military vehicle and went on foot as they both carried two duffle bags.
They soon sat on a log and put down their equipments it was nighttime.
Alfie spread out a blueprint of Fort Nantes and lit up a flashlight on it.
"So whats the plan? There is a plan right?" James asked.
"Of course there is."
"Here." Alfie pointed at the map.
"What's there?"
"Power room."
"Explain more McBride."
"We go in as Nazi soldiers and head to the power room, once there we shut off all their lights and communications for back up, after that the Fort will fight mostly blind, we fight our way out and I will take position here and blow these high-points taking off their eyes from the sky, after their snipers are down...we go crazy."
It was silent as James just stared at the map.
"This...this is basically a suicide mission."
"No need to worry I did some calculations and I-"
Alfie spoke but was interrupted by James.
"Not everything is about calculations and strategy, even if we have weird mutated powers we are still two men, against an entire brigade of troops in a Fort where their defense is." James said.
They went back and forth with their own point of views, Alfie trying to convince and James only talking in a realistic view.
But soon enough Alfie talked him into it after telling him they came this far already.
They were now getting ready.
From one of the duffle bags Alfie grabbed two tight suits before throwing one to James.
"Wear it."
"It's too tight." James placed the tight suit on the ground.
"I suggest you use it James, you might be regenerative but that suit will keep bullets from entering you, the worst that could happen is getting bruises...well that was a lie there is no helmet so the worst thing that could happen is...-"
"I get it." James interrupted his thinking and proceeded to put the suit on.
All they wore now was tight skin suit that was Kevlar, covering their entire bodies except for the head, hands, and feet.
Alfie grabbed the last duffle bag before they ran rushing to the nearest wall.
Reaching their destination Alfie looked at Luna.
"Alright Luna, you're gonna stay here, until the signal comes on then you can run in and rip any head you want." Alfie said.
"I doubt she can understand you." James said.
"Oh no she can."
"How? Thats..."
"I just speak to wolves on a deeper level than with humans, how do you think I was able to bring you here with me." Alfie said.
"You kidnapped me."
"But you had more than a few chances to get away, yet you didn't."
"Lets just get this over with."
