Escribe una reseñaI feel so weird writing this review because I wanted to like this story. And part of me does like it. But I also f##king hate it lol. Okay let's start off with this. The Arthur isn't really a bad writer. He set up the world really well and it was easy to follow. Killer monsters, people with powers fights them, good guys are Enforcers. Easy. The first half of Volume One is Good. Really good. At least a3.5 or 4 out of 5. And then you get to the rest... So first off. A compliant. It's f##king long. The first half of volume one is good but so stupidly long. The first chapter is nearly 5000 words. F##k. And it gets longer... Also you can tell it's his first story and the writing is meh. That gets better. But the story gets worse. Volume Two is f##ked. Kind of. The final part of volume one, and the first half of volume two feel mega rushed. I feel like he just made s##t up that he thought would be cool. Thankfully the second half of Volume Two was good. Again. Better than volume one. But I don't want to go through s##t to get a semi valuable diamond. Now Volume 3... What? What even is it? I feel like s##t just happens to happen. The lovable characters are gone there's like 15 plots and its just bad. And spoiler so don't read this part if you care about that it ends on a rebbot? It just ends. Hero dies. Story restarts... Why! That's so stupid and so dumb. I hate it. Legit hate it. Not good at all. So Volume 3 has ended and the Arthur has rebooted the entire story. Volume 4 is volume one again but with some changes. And.. It's good. I mean it's a f##king stupid plot point and a mess to get to it, the Volume so far is the best. It as the easy and fun story of Volume One, with the improved writing. It really feels like its own story and not a part of Enforcers? But still Enforcers? Its weird. I'm gonna keep reading because I know the story is good. It just bad also? It's so weird? The comments are a meme and is just off I guess? So heres what I say. Read Volume one, skip 2, and 3, and go straight to 4. By the end of Volume one you'll know if you enjoy these characters or not.
Why am I allowed to rate my own story? Of course, I'm gonna be a biased prick and give myself all fives? Screw fair play! I'm in this for the long run! Here's a 1
five out of five simply for having the shortest first chapter and somehow still managing to make a serious story lol. Okay but for real. I'd actually give this like a 3 or maybe a low 4. It is a kind of funny story. It uses dark horse styles of comedy with people mostly making short quick replies so if you don't like that you probroaly wont find this story funny. As for action. it has its moments. I feel like they could be a lot better but it gets the point across. The story is kind of cool. You got monsters and superpowers. It is really slow though. I was expecting this to be like a few chapters of world building but we're still only at chapter 20 and are still be givin questions. Some stuff still hasn't been explained and others are slowly being unraveled. The powers are kind of cool. They take normal concepts and alter them kind of. Like you got your base fire power and this mad man said screw it and turned it into a fox. I like Chinese lore and mythology. All in all this is an okayish story. I have fun reading it but then again I've never given any rank lower than a 3 so don't trust me.
I will be 100% honest. I didn't really like it early on. But. The more I read it the more I found myself starting to like it? The charcaters grew on me, and the story seemed to get better for me. The superpowers are basic but with a uquie spin on them, or at least what I think is a cool spin... Jackson is by far my favorite character. He is super goofy but has been shown the be really powerful. Like stupidly powerful. The only main problome I even have is Irene... The way they were handled felt weird to me but I think I got what the author is going for? Anyways the point I am getting at is that this story is really over the top and weird. And I like that. I read so many deep and dark stories that I thought it was refreshing to have a story where they make jokes. #Hero X Ken for life.
It's an okay story. It starts off kind of crap but then again every webnovel I've read has started off the same way. I'll give it a 3 so far since it does seem to be sort of getting better. Right now though there are definitely better stories to read.
Its an okay story. A bit all over the place at the start and needs a lot more chapters before becoming great. The world building is kind of slow as so far it has a lot of main characters rather then just one. Right now the story is building up the main guys and building the world on the side. It has still left some questions but just enough pieces for us to figure it out on our own. Its not bad but right now this story is just a 3. Not the worst but there is probably something better out there. Who knows though. My ratings may change. This story is only 4 chapters after all.
Revelar spoilerIt is an okay story for sure. It is still super early on but every chapter seems to get better. I didn't have a moment that I hated, but I did have several that I found enjoyable. Honestly I feel like you either like it or you don't?
Well I finally into reading your storu finally. Sniper kept bugging me to do it saying you could use the help. And what the hell I forced you to read my stuff more times then I can count. I'm glad to see you managed to get this story going. All of us kept trying but just couldn't get it right. Oh well. to the actual review. I like the story but then again I helped with like 10% so I am a bit bisas with my review. Sniper went full critic mode but ill be mpore gental. I do like it. The ear;y chapters are kind of bad but around the train station which is the last capter is where it gets good to me. Ken and Hero are kind of funny. I like how Hero looks. I look forward to seeing what else will happen. I hate Kitsunes chapter though. The action almost dulled me and Kitsune just seems like a typical rich boy. Feels more like a card board in the shape of a man. That said I do enjoy reading this story and I know you can do a lot better. I look forward to seeing you improve.
Revelar spoilerOkay don't read this unless you are caught up because I am about to go all-in with the spoils and my thoughts. Okay. First things first this story definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars. But I am still giving them because I am nice and how blown away I was with the cast... So to start of this comment. I didn't like this story at first. In fact, I ranked most of the chapters a 3 star at best... However. As I began to read more I slowly realized something. All of the main characters Hero, Ken, Kitsune, Irene, and Cloud are generic main characters, done well? What? What do I mean by that? All five of them follow after a sin characters clique. Hero, is the kid who is special and unique by having multiple Attributes, and wants to save a girl. Oh, how clever. Ken is the hot header powerhouse, who needs to learn to think more. Yippy. Kitsune, is the kid with a mysterious past who is looking for someone. Irene, is in the shadows or a sibling, who is better than her. And Cloud is a badass. All five of them are a main characters from a show. And that's the thing. All five of them are almost always together. It's like a story where you have a full cast of edgelords. But what makes that so cool and interesting to me? Because it simply isn't true. Each of these characters are shown to have mental problems... Physical problems... Or emotional problems... It is almost like a balance. The author has given us these generic main characters on the surface but you look a little deeper and you begin to see they all have some massive PTSD. I mean have you seen what is inside of Hero's mind? Its a landscape of blood... One thing I found myself loving was each character's interactions with each other. All five main cast members worked off each other really well in how they act and flow super good. Honestly, if each character was on their own it would be awful and a bore but by having them always bickering with each other you get this really lovely feel as they all act... Human? Yeah. I'll say it. To me, these characters really do come off as human. But it isn't just the characters I like. The world and how it is this thing that is built up is really interesting to me. We are given these random bits here and there about darkness and the cold of the world. This isn't just dark clique poetry either. From what we have seen, and from how the characters act, it is always night time, and it is always snowing. Okay, this review is getting kind of long... All in all with what I have to say Enforcers has these generic characters that can either work as casual mcs or deep mcs depending on how much you look. The monsters are pretty cool and we are learning more about them. The writing starts off as trash but is getting better with each chapter. Just. Give the story a read if you have the time. I guarantee that there will be something you will like.
Revelar spoilerWell I finally started reading your story. I thought it was okay...??? I mean I havn't finished it yet but I know almost everything that would have happened since I already read most of it helping you write it out... Anyways I got a webnovel account since you could use the help, and because I also wanna get some more books to read.
Revelar spoilerFinally caught up with the plot! Okay. First things first. Dawson Blight. He is the best character. Has only like... Three lines but the dude is a badass. Okay I like the story. Yeah that's basically it? It is a slow burn clique anime story full of jokes, and action. It is silly and has some really great moments. So far I don't really have anything I hate about the story? Others might hate it with how the story flows, but I think it is great!
It's a really weird but kind of cool story I guess... I like some of the characters but others are weird. But in a good way. It has some cool super powers I guess. Also some monsters. It is a bit of a slow start but I think it is starting to speed up? Maybe?
It's a pretty good story, I guess. By no means the best, but it is really good at certain points. The characters at first felt like boring cut outs, but as it progressed they got a lot better. One thing I like about the story, is when the characters interact. The cast all flow well together and that is my favorite part of the story. This story doesn't have an amazing plot that will wow you, it doesn't have super deep characters, but what it does have is, some cool superpowers, (looking at you Kitsune) and some fun characters.
So I somehow accidentally made an alt account lol. No idea how. I decided to just go to every other story I ever read and just vote 5 stars on them cause why not. Not like I'm ever gonna use this again after this right.
Revelar spoilerAn updated comment now that, I am further into the story. Okay It's pretty good? I honestly don't really know what else to say. We get to see more about the world. It is a slow burn but seems to be speeding up.
Okay. Here is an honest review of what I think of the story so far. As of right now there are 28 chapters so anything in the comment may not be true anymore. Also I won't spoil anything. So. First of all what do I think of the story. It is a good story. And I mean that. It has an interesting idea, and has some really (at least to me) cool super powers, and monsters. It has some interesting character that I do hope to see expanded on. While I do feel some can do better I personally don't hate any of them. Secondly. The grammar is good, but in terms of that I am heavily biased. I have been reading so many stories that have so many mistakes that after reading this one it was refreshing. Now it does mess up so it is by no means perfect. Hell it does have a few mistakes in writing now that I think back on it but compared to some of the other 'stories' I have read a few mistakes are things I can forgive. Now for what is the biggest problem I have with this story. The length of it... This story is a massive slow burn! It takes like 20 chapters before the plot starts working... Now usually I wouldn't mind that but the chapters are so God Damn long... Like stupidly long... There's a point where there are 5 chapters all with at least 5k words in a row!!! Now look. I do like long chapters, but damn! Now if you like long chapters than you'll like it. Now I will say it does seem to be speeding up? Maybe? I dunno. The plot seems to be moving now which is good... But seriously I hope those chapters start to get shorter considering the fact that with the massive chapters and the slow burn plot it can be annoying. Thankfully I do like the characters, and there are some funny jokes that keep me in. So all in all if you have time go ahead and read this. But be warned as it will take time to finish this one...
It is a really good story honestly. When I first saw this I thought it would be kind of like MHA, but it wasn't. That is both good, and bad. You see in the anime MHA it has a very heavy focus on the superpowers. That's not the case in this one. While yes there are a ton of different powers we see, some cliqued like Jackson, who just uses lightning, and some that I haven't seen in another seriers like Dawson, Hero, Kitsune... So on. So far I can happily say I've seen some super cool powers. But that isn't really the focus of the story. The power system is more like Bleach I guess. Everybody has there own uquie powers, but then there is a power that everyone can use. Or like One Piece where everyone has a devil fruit, but Haki still exist to. Enforcers is kind of like that. While everyone does have their own superpower, the superpower itself isn't the main focus of them. We see a lot more weapons, and even mixing powers, and magic. This definitely has a lot more of a fantasy feel to it compared to MHA. Now the powers being a big deal, but not the main focus is both good and bad. It adds on more to the story, but at times it will rebound and go on all about a power. Basically it can verify sometimes randomly making it confusing. Also the chapters are kind of long. If you like really big stories then this one if perfect, but if you want a chapter you can just read and put down then look else where. The plot is constantly being expanded but isn't rushed, and most of the times it will take a few chapters for something to be resolved. Now this isn't to bad, but the chapters are so long that you'll spend a few hours just reading through Volume one which isn't even done yet... In that regeard I would say this is like One Piece where it is long, but still has a lot happening. Thankfully the story itself is pretty good so you don't have to worry about reading something boring. One thing the author is just amazing at is writing the characters. Like 45% of a chapter is just a bunch of characters talking, and that is okay belive it or not. The characters are funny, and feel real, while still maintaining a sort of over the top anime feel. So all in all this story does have quite a few problomes such as length, and pacing, but I still think that if you have time, and you want to see some badass powers, then pick this one up.
Revelar spoilerThis is pretty spoilery as I am gonna talk about Hero, and my thoughts on him. Hello Author-Kun. It's me. Good old fan who has a secret alt account. You'll still never guess who I really am! Hahaha haha evil laugh hahaha. I wanted to do something differently today though. Recently I started posting long detailed chapters on different characters from many other webnovels and since you just posted a chapter about an hour ago, and we are learning a lot about Hero, let's do one on him. So to start off with. I love the character Hero. He is pretty silly, and goofy, which is refreshing considering it has almost been nonstop edgelords, or seriousbillys. So having a down to earth idiot felt fun and new. Also. He has three powers. It has been hammered home several times that a human can only have one. Hero, however, is running around with three that all kind of madh together into the ultimate combo. Thank God for bulls##t main character powers, am I right! But in actuality. Hero having three powers makes dense from a character stand point rather than a naritive stand point. So far the story is an obvious man versus monsters. Man has stupidly cool superpowers. Monsters also have stupidly cool superpowers plus multiple powers, plus a lot more of them. Also. They can evolve like Pokemon, I love the monsters in this series... Anyways. The point is it is man vs monster. Man only has 1 power while monsters have 2 or more. But here's the cool thing. Hero is one of the few with more than one. Apparently, there was some ancient clan blah, blah, experiments and he now has 3 powers. One of the powers is literally called the Monster something something. The point is it has monster in the title! That's ******** and shows that man still can only have 1 power. Because Hero could technically be considered a monster now? Or can he... Let's get names up in here! So Okami Otoko is a mysterious man who we know little about, but we do know he is the grandfather of Hero, has jept Hero locked away from the world for sixteen years resulting in the boy being dumb as s##t, and the man apparently worked on the Enforcers as well, and may of may not be insanely strong. However, what I want to do is look at Okami Otoko. Fun fact. That is a Japanese name. Okami meaning wolf, and Otoko meaning Man. So in a way his name is the Wolf Man. Now considering names are a big part of this story as everyone's name ties itno something about that character Okami/Wolf is likely the man's Power. Probably some wolf based ability. It doesn't really matter. What does matter is Otoko/Man? Hero Otoko would be Hero Man. Man being the key word. Man as in mankind and mankind as in human. By all accounts, Hero is being called a human by his name. But he has the Monster super power. So than what is Hero. A human, or a Monster? I feel like that will be a question that will plague the story later on as it begins to get unraveled. Hero is basically a coin. On one side he is a human. On the other, he is a monster. Inside of Hero's mind we are given three main things. A Hospital, that is also a killer monsters, a flying lab coat that drops blood, and a massive river of red liquid. Weird right? We are actually told by the lab coat several things. One. This isn't the first time Hero has been there so he apparently goes there a lot? Two the Hopsital is obviously his monster side, while the Labcoat claims to have been put there by Doctor Hyde (where's Jekle) so it represents his human side. And the liquid? Well Lab Coat claims it's Hero Mother? I dunno know about it though? The point is two sides. Hero I feel, will be a very interesting character for later on. Or he could just be a random guy and I thought way too much into this as the author could be making up the plot as he goes...
Revelar spoilerThis is a pretty good story. Is it perfect. No. Not even close. In fact it has quite a few. It is really, really long, and really, really slow. It takes a while for anything to happen, and at times, its writing would go all over the place early on, but. And this is a big but. This is still a really good story. I usually try to read the first 15 chapters before I judge a story. A good thing since this one starts off kind of janky early on. But it gets better, Every chapter it got better, and better. The charcters are good too. They started off as just these mega cliques but the more it progressed the more I began to like them. This isn't a great story, but it is a fun story.
