Capítulo 118: The night is young for those, who madly in love.
They arrived at the apartment at 09.00 p.m.
Wang Kai has showered, wearing his sleeping wear and read a book on the bed while waiting for Xiao Ni coming out from the bathroom. His eyes were reading, but his mind wandering all over the place. He was mostly worried about Xiao Ni.
His prediction was likely true. It explained why Xiao Ni act weirdly around him and his family.
She starts to dazed off the moment she heard his answers. It makes him worried sick that he might mess up his chance. But it is the best he could come out in such a crucial time. He also thinks it's the answer who can deliver the things he wanted to say to Xiao Ni.
No matter what, he will always be on her side. Not even the Wang family could make him change his decision.
He waited for her for another ten minutes before his feet start to itching. He closed the book and put it right back where it belongs, and walk to the bathroom. Knocking, he called out her name casually, as if there is nothing wrong between them.
"Guan Xiao Ni, you've been inside for one hour. come out."
There is no answer from inside. He tried to knock again.
"Guan Xiao Ni, are you a mermaid in human disguise? Come out!"
Not even a drop of water can be heard. Wang Kai frowns as he starts to knock faster.
"Guan Xiao Ni, are you dead inside?" He raised his voice. Gave up on knocking and widely moving the door handle instead. That is when the door suddenly opens, revealing Xiao Ni pouty face.
She is draining.
"Guan Xiao Ni!" he wanted to scold her for being so careless. How can she soak wet in this cold night? What if she caught the flu and fall asleep? Geez, this why he will always worried about her. He prepared for a long ass of speech when the little wet softball pounced on him.
She pounced and cried out loud.
"Why did you treat me so good?" she sobbed why buried deep her head on his chest, tighten her hand around his waist.
Wang Kai's heart ached and turned soft at the same time. He lowered his head to look at her and patted her head dotingly. He kissed her wet head before pinched her chin gently, creating eye contact between them.
Xiao Ni's eyes, nose, and cheek were all red. But her lips were pale. Wang Kai used his thumb to erase her tears and cupped her palm-sized face. He looks at her with a solemn face.
"Silly girl. I've told you long before. I might not even treat my wife as good as I treat you. Now that you are my Guan Xiao Ni and my wife, how can I not treat you nice?"
Xiao Ni blinked her eyes, tears rolling down her cheeks again. She couldn't stop crying, she just felt very sinful toward him. How could he treat her so good like this?
"I'm sorry," she cried on his broad chest.
She was sorry for separate him and the wang from the people he loves.
She was sorry that she pushes him away, that night.
She was sorry that she couldn't be honest with him and she was sorry she was too selfish and did not want to let him go. She was sorry that she greedily takes the love and warmth he had, although she knew she did not deserve it.
All the way to the home, she keeps repeating his answers in the car.

Wang Kai is a genius. He's so smart and quick-witted. He must have realized she remembers something, thus give her that answer.
A burst of worried and frightened feeling welled up inside of her.
But after all, everything that she has felt, deep down she found back her peace. Her scattered heart on the ground, he slowly picked it up and fixed it for her. After all the doubt and the outburst, she finally felt relief, and….
Happy.
"All right, don't cry again. Change your clothes first. It's all wet. I'll help you dry your hair later."
Xiao Ni's mood was a bit better now. Facing his gentle gaze right now she blushed and lowered her gaze. "Forget it, you can't blow my hair the way I want."
Wang Kai raised his eyebrow, faking his offended expression. "Well, I'm sure my blowing skill has progressed from the last time."
Last time, he almost plucks her hair that she almost turns bald! Remembering that unkind experience makes Xiao Ni shudders. She waves her hand quickly and scoffed.
"Forget it, the past accident has deeply traumatized me," she mumbles and walks away after breaking free from him. Wang Kai was rather amused by how fast her mood changes. She was crying a minute before and dump him into cold water the second next.
Xiao Ni comes out from the closet room with hair beautifully blown. Wang Kai who has his eyes set on the book looked up, nodding his head before patting the bed beside him.
"Why are you nodding your head?" Xiao Ni jumped to the bed, inclined her head to investigate Wang Kai.
Wang Kai who had his eyes set on the book, only peek at her slightly. Acting indifferent he said, "I'm acknowledging you."
Xiao Ni's face almost fell, she blinks dumbfoundedly. "Acknowledging me for what?"
She regrets asking the moment it comes out from her mouth. The air surrounds Wang Kai is so clear to Xiao Ni as she saw his lips smirking.
"I'm acknowledging your beauty, you are beautiful." Nonetheless, to say, she knew he will give her a shameless answer!
Xiao Ni pretends that he never said anything and decided to watch something on the television. That's when Wang Kai closed his book and cling to her body.
"!!!" Xiao Ni was surprised. Now that her emotional know has unknotted, he starts to act shamelessly again?
"You, What are you doing?"
"Hugging you," he said with a 'duh' tone. Xiao Ni is pushing him away and prepared to yell at him when the television rang out an interesting sound and picture.
"Harrison you look so handsome!" the familiar cherry voice draws Wang Kai and Xiao Ni's attention to the television.
"Did not even let the little boy go." the deep voice commented.
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing, Nothing, I didn't say anything."
"Mu Xing! You stand there! What do you mean by-" The girl on the television step on toys, almost fall then she was caught by the handsome man. They look so closed and the team edited it with so many loves emoticon.
Xiao Ni gasp and hold her breath. She felt the arm around her waist loosen up. Damn it! why does she felt guilty? As if she has been caught cheating red-handed.
"Guan Xiao Ni, I think there is something we need to discuss." His eyes glint with a slight gloom.
Xiao Ni shooks her hand frantically. "I'm sleepy, let's talk tomorrow!" she pulled the blanket across her head. She was quick, but Wang Kai is quicker. He pulls the blanket without mercy and shows his 'I'm-a-good-person' smile.
"No, let's talk about this tonight."
Xiao Ni pouted and decided to take the safest way to save her life. "Hubby! I have to go back tomorrow, let's not fight tonight, okay?"
Wang Kai felt her heart is very cheap right now. She just needs to call him hubby and the anger has vanished entirely. But he still put on the angry front.
"Well, that's why we need to sort this out before you go." He tapped on her forehead. Xiao Ni blinked and look at the smiling fox. The wider his smile, the scarier she got.
When she finds a glint of playfulness beneath his eyes, a dangerous idea comes across her. Xiao Ni waited and observed his handsome face before smoothed her plans.
Exactly when he closed his eyes to blink, she pulls his neck and sticks her lips toward him. Wang Kai was surprised, he opens his eyes and found Xiao Ni's beautiful brown eyes.
She was so close that their breath almost become one.
Three heartbeats. Yes, Xiao Ni counted how much time they spend in silence, staring at each other before Wang Kai grabs her nape and deepen the kiss.
He kissed like a hungry wolf. So overwhelming, so domineering. He yearns for her as much as she yearns for him.
Xiao Ni smiles sweetly when they stop to catch their breath. Wang Kai was too serious to chuckle right now. He restrains himself and controlled his mind.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked with a deep hoarse voice. Xiao Ni was too shy to answer. But she did not want him to stop either.
He was waiting patiently for her answer. His gaze was straight, staring at her with so many unspeakable things.
Xiao Ni blush, before eventually answer.
"Don't you want it?" She was so nervous that her voice cracked. She finds it silly but did not have more time to think as Wang Kai has once again, attacked her.
