Capítulo 6: A most capable lord.
Joc crawled out from a primitive shelter, made from some shrubbery. He had finally after having his fill of red foot rot and getting cleaned up in small stream, bed down to sleep. His new flesh screamed in protest as he tried to stretch out the kinks in his muscles and joints.
[..ahhh…. Truly this is so nice... One does not fucking realize the simple pleasures of a good stretch and working limbs… Until they're gone… They may.. Ache… but this is the pain of the real… THE pain of progress... this is the pain that pays you in achievement… Although it would be better not to hurt… The world is not so kind… I must eat to live… I must kill to live… I must keep moving forward… If I stop and hesitate it will simply mean death… Knowing that I… I still have my mind… the knowledge that is contained within... What if…] joc clamped together his now clawed demonic hands.
"~~~**~***~~~***" the sounds that came from joc's fanged mouth, were strange and incomprehensible. The sounds seemingly resonated with the air, making a cacophony of unworldly sounds… joc's hands were being pushed apart as a ball of black flames was forming in the space between joc's hands… […WHAT THE FUCK… WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THIS…FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCKING SHIT!!... CANCEL, STOP, HOLD…JUST FUCKING STOP!!!] joc's sweating hands were trembling terribly, as he tried futilely stopping the spell, But he couldn't; the spell was drawing upon his mana by itself, but not only that it was also drawing upon mana from the environment. The spell was greedily devouring joc's mana. [ … FUCK IT…COME WHAT MAY!!] Quickly realizing that the spell could not be dispersed, joc decided to cast it.
The now head sized black fireball went screeching off of at high-speed, eventually colliding with a bloodstone pillar in the distance… Exploding… Pitifully […what… just… what…all that fucking difficulty… and that is it… why… just the fuck why… did the spell come out like that… why the shit was I not able to disperse it… and when did spells ever consume mana on their own... Probably has something to do... The fact that this is not my original body… Or maybe damage to the soul… but what the fucking shit was that was spewing from mouth… That…that was not… why did my words turn into such an eerie sound… I know that demonic spells did not come out like that… In essence they are the same as humans spells... But the fireball spell in itself was strange, not just the manifesting and casting… That black flames… That screeching sound that… sounded as if someone was murdering a cat… The Spell almost seem sentient… like a little fucking ball of vile hate and madness… the fucking thing sort of felt… Almost evil… I wonder if... only the Fireball spell… That will Come out like that..]
joc proceeded to try a large variation of spells. All of them even simple utility spells, ones like 'lightball', all came out the same as the first spell joc tried. during the preparation phase that horrid cacophony of unworldly sound would spew forth from his mouth. Then during the manifestation phase, joc would be unable to dispersed the spell, it would but instead continually and rapidly devour his and the surrounding mana until it was cast; When the spell was finally cast the spell regardless of what it was, would release this horrid screeching, akin to that of a dying cat.
But one of the strangest things was, all the spells came out black, even the 'lightball' spell; it's still produced light, but was less like that of sunlight and more akin to that of moonlight, pale and eerie.
What's more the spells were inefficient and unstable compared to their normal counterparts. The spells consumed a considerable more amount of mana than normal, dispersed faster and having weaker effects.
[… It's like there is some fucking thing missing… The spells are acting as if they're being created wrong…but that is fucking bullshit… I KNOW I am making them correctly… I'm not some sort of idiot novice… Even the simplest spell I know is fucked up… spark… Even a FUCKING CHILD CAN USE SUCH A SPELL… I highly doubt it's because I'm using a human spell in a demon body… I've seen demons use human spells ALL THE FUCKING DAMNABLE TIME… Same thing happens when I tried using a demon spell too… I know for GOD DAMN FACT NOW that it isn't because unable to properly chant… It seems to be a symptom but not the cause… Because EVEN A FUCKING SILENT spell came out wrong… What's more WHY IN THE FUCKING HELLLANDS, DO THE FUCKING SPELLS SEEM TO ALMOST HAVE A DAMN MIND OF THEIR OWN?!... That's only way I can explain it… the fucking things act unruly and consume mana as if it trying to stay alive… THAN THAR IS THAT FUCKING SCREECHING… IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SHRILL SCREECH OF THE TORTURED … WAIT…THAT IS FUCKING IT… Magic is tied to the soul… My soul clearly experience something that it should not of… it's not fucking normal for a dead man's soul to transfer to new body… a new body who I suspect, still had it original soul… It also might be possible that others got dragged along with my own soul… yes that's it… Souls or their remnants are fucking with my spells… They are either accidentally incorporated with the spells… Granting the spells a level of consciousness… or are simply hijacking the spell creation process once I start it… That or maybe even the spells are unable to properly connect with my soul due to the interference of the others… uggg..FUCKING DAMN IT!..] joc had finally come to the realization of what's most likely wrong with the creation of his spells. He was not an expert in the study of souls, but nor was he a complete novice in the field.
He understood few facts; first, magic and the ability to control it, is linked to the soul itself; Because the soul is needed to control and manifest the mana which makes up spells. Second that the soul is one and the same, as ones consciousness; things like madness can and will damage the soul, so even if one recovered from madness the ability to use magic would be severely hindered. Last of all joc knew that, 2 or more souls cannot control the same spell, at the same time. That's why when targeting an array spell with multiple mages, you always kill or incapacitate the one who initiates the spell; because they are the ones who actually controlling the spell, its their soul who is in control of the mana; the other mages are simply supplying the head mage with additional mana as well as containing the spell.
So knowing these facts, joc is able to understand to some degree why his spells keep fucking up. His body is acting as an array with multiple souls or their fragments all simultaneously creating the spell; but because these other souls are most likely severely damaged or are tentatively connected to his new body, as well as the fact that he doesn't have control over these souls, it causes the spell to go haywire. But joc is unable to pinpoint exactly what the interaction is that is fucking everything up, he simply knows it has something to do interference of these other souls or their fragments.
"… ahhhhh….fucking damn it, At least I can still use magic; even as fucked as it is. ahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Just you wait you fucking whoresons, and you harlot cunt. This is just a small setback, just you wait. Ahahhahha, I will make you pay. I will make you all pay…" joc laughed maniacally, as much as the potential problem of the prospect of multiple souls or their fragments residing in the same body could pose. These were problems joc was sure of that he is able to overcome and inevitably are going to be simply a small setback, a setback that will only make himself stronger in the end.
He will get his revenge it simply a matter of time that's it… After all joc was the man who killed the demon King and lived to tell the tale.

First is the preparation stage, in this stage you create the framework that you later fill with mana, creation of arrays, chanting, or hand gestures are part of the preparation stage. Second is the manifestation stage, this is when you fill the framework with mana, so it’s essentially when the spell starts to manifest. Third and last of all, the casting stage, this is when you choose the direction and speed of the spell if you’re interrupted during this stage the spells affect will happen right in front of you… Potentially blowing you up depending on the spell. )
