When Dev saw Ador choking, he looked at the hostess and asked for water.
As Ador reached out for one of the glasses, in the tray, Dev took both the glasses and emptied both one after the other and said "thanks" to the hostess.
The hostess, Akansha said she will be back with another glass of water shortly and left. Ador glared at Dev. He just saw past her as if she did not exist. Inwardly he was laughing at her fuming self.
After drinking the water and putting on the seat belt, Ador was ready for the flight to take off. She was in the lion's den and she knew it. So she had to be careful. She closed her eyes and tried to fake sleep.
Dev was trying to read a magazine but he had no concentration at all. On the contrary his focus was on the suit Ador was wearing. The smell of her perfume was awaking his little brother. He was feeling restless. He wanted to devour her there itself.
The constant walking of the flight attendants was disturbing his inappropriate thoughts of Ador.
He silently clicked a snap of Ador who was asleep as per her pretence and left for the loo to free his small brother from agony.
Just as Dev left, Ador felt the seat empty beside her and opened her eyes to crosscheck. She gulped down two glasses of water. She was shaking and had goosebumps all over. She had felt Dev staring at her and taking her snap. She knew what was coming. She took another dose of clonazepam and told the hostess to wake her up if she fell asleep, when the flight would land. She tried to relax. After sometime she fell in deep slumber.
Meanwhile it was difficult for Dev to satisfy his inner desires in the flight. It took him time to control his arousal. When he was back, Ador was sleeping.
He kept on looking at her. He saw that Ador had lost weight but her skin was glowing. There was no dark circles around her eyes unlike him, who could not sleep alone. He took a few snaps of her, in different angles with him and slid the phone in his blazer's pocket. He felt hungry and ate a sandwich. He was happy. This happiness was different from the times devoid of her presence. He wanted her back. Dev wanted Ador back in his life. He wanted to apologize to her for his wrong doings and tantrums, for his hooliganism and his slang words, for his tortures too..... but Ador was asleep. This was irking him. He wanted to wake her up and tell her that he wanted her back.
Ador stirred in sleep and slowly opened her eyes. She was smiling because of a sweet dream she had. But as she realized her surroundings, her smile disappeared . Just as Dev was going to ask her about her Mumbai visit, the hostess said to fasten the seatbelt as the flight was getting ready to land before time, at Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji Airport.
Ador looked outside the window. Once the flight landed, she got up and tried to leave early from the rear end. As Dev tried to take out his cabin luggage, in a hurry, from the place where he previously sat, before exchanging seats with the granny, he looked towards the back of the flight, and saw Ador disappear among the people who were leaving the flight. He hurried but was late. He could not catch up to her speed. It felt as if she ran for her life. His eyes darkened with determination. Dev wanted Ador back soon. He thought he needed to talk to Bali to coax Kir to give Ador back to them. But for that he needed this job of marketing manager. He toughened himself and left to pursue his train of thoughts in MUMBAI, where dreams turned into reality.
