Capítulo 249: Pitiful

The days went by in a flash, and all at once, Friday night was upon them.  

Mr. Ville had arranged an evening dinner, so everyone, including Yun Jinhan, was gathered at the banquet hall, eating, drinking and talking about business and other things.  

Juu wasn't inside the dining hall because Xiaolei had made a deal with him. Even though Xiaolei was accustomed to Juu following her, she knew that it wouldn't be acceptable to her business partners, despite the fact that they are used to seeing Juu follow her everywhere, even into the conference room. Right now, she was dealing with people who are bigger than her, so she didn't want them to think she lacked trust in them by having Juu with her.  Of course, Juu was extremely hesitant, even with her persuasion. He told her that he couldn't compromise her safety for anything else.
